Hey, I thought you guys/girls might want to check this thread out. I was impressed. It's an awesome video IMO :)

that place looks great ... nice video, but i'd like to see more trees there :P specially trees that you can climb :D

I can't watch these kinds of videos without feeling second hand embarrassment. Not sure why, just do.

josie20 05-17-2010 02:16 AM

Grif, did you at least finish the video? The ending is pretty sweet.

Same here. I watched the whole thing, though.

My backyard looks like Pandora. There's trees everywhere back there. Maybe I'll take a picture of it eventually and post it.

Not yet, I was hoping if someone would tell me if it has any second hand embarrassment-esc moments.

Nothing embarrassing, I thought it was great to be honest.

I usually get second-hand embarrassment from this type of video. But not this one. :)

I really liked the video. Great message at the end too.

I completely understand. I wish that I could turn off that sense of secondhand embarrassment. The second time I watched Avatar, the secondhand embarrassment really killed it.

Human No More 05-21-2010 07:01 AM

Hmm, nice :)

Sight Unseen, what? Why did you get that? :(

madman 05-21-2010 07:15 AM

Probably because this guy shows us what many people would scoff at... How is it any different than how we talk about Avatar here?

Well, I wasn't completely into the movie as the first time, and I wasn't sure if it was normal to feel such a deep connection to a movie, or to fall in love with a 10 foot tall blue amazonian cgi alien. I guess it really isn't secondhand embarrassment, but more of me trying to hold on to societal norms.

Human No More 05-25-2010 10:04 PM

You shouldn't think like that... What's not to love about her, about the world? :(

Yeah. I just find it frustrating that I have to keep telling myself this.

Human No More 05-26-2010 11:35 AM

Don't let ayskxawng get you down. You still feel it, even if you keep trying not to. Don't be bound by other people :)
