(As for the OT Well, I kind of fall exclusively into the Liquid D&B area at this very moment, never really strayed much into the trance world, but like I say, the feeling amongst us is very much the same.) Quote:
You made a good point and I understand what you are saying completely. Sometimes it's incredibly difficult to love, or even like someone who appears to be completely blind to it themselves (unless you have the latest moblie phone or the highest in fashion that is...) but I still believe that in time even those people can be won over and, if you look deeper into someone, you can find that they have the same ideals, but feel pressured to conform. |
its ok Stan :P lol my presence isnt important in this thread anyway :D i will be in the others though, i promise!! :P
Hey Fkeu! its ok im going to leave the thread anyway, so many others to post in :D lol just wanted to say something then get out haha :P but you are right! i just have to look deeper into them.. i will learn to eventually.. after i can get rid of my hatred for these people :P lol!! |

I'd just like to say, a lot of it has to do with the other person having to learn what matters as well, especially with people who judge on superficial means. Ok, that's it. :D |

(and as for the OT, you think you could send me a youtube video or two of your favorite liquid drum & bass songs? I'm always up for a new genre... but yea, trance, electronic, rave, techno, dubstep, things along those lines for me is the most incredible, heart and soul experience :) ) Quote:

And like you said, hopefuly it will start a cascade. :) (And again, talking about the OT, i'll post a video on your profile via visitor message, seeing as this isn't a music thread... :D) |
In the latest updates and scholarly news articles, things are changing around the world. Before, CEOs always listened to their investors when it came to their business decisions. However, out of nowhere, some CEOs are trying to unbind themselves to this tide. They are the ones the CEO is liable to and has to answer too; without them, the company wouldn't of existed so the loyalty from the CEO is demanded. If a CEO doesn't answer their investors, they suffer very big consequences in many ways. Take Exxon Mobil for instance. That company is among the most powerful of the oil companies in the world today. They make billions of profits in income (last time I checked, it was around 2 to 4 billion every quarter), and all of it comes from oil. Exxom Mobil is not, I repeat, NOT a clean industry, unlike how their commercials put it. Out of that fast income, 3/5ths of it goes to oil searching and discovery, 1/16th of it goes to finding alternate energy sources. Even though the amount of money dumped into finding alternate energies would seem astounding from researchers and scientists outside of E. Mobil ($1.2-$4.2 million every quarter). The company can do much better than this. The world doesn't want to change their course, and those with the power will not take the risk.
This goes for all countries, companies, and industries. We are not changing our 'business as usual' approach to the economy because the CEOs are unwilling, afraid, skeptical, and reluctant to change towards the way of the future. The government can step in and bring about great legislation influencing cleaner energies and safer products, but the amount of money the companies have is so much that they can corrupt their way into any policy, ultimately destroying any chance of a better future. Dirty Power, Cement, Oil, and Cow Manure are the top 4 reasons for why global warming exists. Deforestation simply multiplied the pollutants of half of these variables. Things are going to get messy, real quick. Government really needs to do something, and I think there should be rules placed on lobbyists to help beneficial policies to get through. The lobbyists right now got it easier than businesses hiring illegal immigrants, that should be a warning sign. |

I love it when I drive around blasting some music with my bracelets on and such windows and sunroof down, whenever I make eye contact with someone I throw them the peace sign... I can't wait for someone to ask me what the Kandi bracelets are for and I reply and throw him a bracelet... That'll make them think :)

People think nothing's free in life these days, we just have to show them that some of the greatest things are. Maybe then they'll understand and start 'giving things away' themselves... |
