Neytiri's physique
 

I noticed that compared to many other female warriors of her age or older, Neytiri seems smaller and more compact. For her size, she seems to be better built, and more muscular. She also has narrower hips, wider shoulders and proportionally larger head.

For a Na’vi, Neytiri’s physique seems to be a bit odd, although still very attractive.

I haven't noticed this, but that is mostly because I spend more time looking at her than the other women. I will keep an eye out next time I watch it, tomorrow :D

Common movie-maker technique: making the protagonist stand out. Neytiri's also the chief's daughter, so we can expect she's had nothing but the best training and experience, which could explain her being more "fit". Whenever I think of her body I think of this pic:

From my observations she has less of an hour glass shape than other females. Proportionally, her waist is slightly wider.

That is an absolutely beautiful image. I love the shots from this scene, they are some of the most spectacular in the whole film. I love the graceful, gently curved lines of her body, her stance, her hand on the tendril, and her downward glance and Jake in his hour of need

It reminds me of a classic painting, just the gentle movement of her body and her soft expression, a strong woman warrior and a living legend in a moment of doubt before a monumental battle. Classic. Now my desktop :D

She's beautiful. She has a perfect body. That's all that needs to be said.

Yeah I did notice this actually.

As you said, she has less of an hourglass figure than some of the other Na'vi females. She's a slighter build, probably to make her stand out more.

I still think the physique of the Na'vi is generally top-form anyway. ;)

Neytiri is amazing, in every aspect:) But her physique fits her perfectly which I think everybody can agree on.
