The End Of Lost.
First I cried. Now I more confused than ever and pissed off. It ended eight minutes ago and I just don't get it.
About how I figured it would end. Oh well. |
I watched Kimmel afterward... made a little more sense after that; not much, though. :shy:
But that's the end of Lost... IMO, Seasons 1-5 were awesome, but season 6 was just... ? |
I haven't seen it yet... I have a LOT of catching up to do... I haven't watched more than the first couple of episodes, Avatar makes it hard to watch other things.

Ahh... :shy:
Well dayum! You're in for a whole lot of... stuff. :P And... omg, you don't know who dies, yet! |
Warning spoilers, but you should have got that by the title of the thread.
Ok so this entire season has been on and off with me. I wasn't really a fan of the whole "heart of the island thing", and the last episode where everyone got the memories back felt awkwardly rushed. These were supposed to be deep moments in people's lives, but they happened to fast. Then we were supposed to care about everyone on the island, but it's hard to when you see them in the other universe (or afterlife) immediately after. The ending though was very good though, and I'm okay with it. |
LOST IS FOUND
SPOILER: It was one of the best pieces of television i had seen, it made not much sence, perhaps thats because i have not commited myself to it as i once did, but man i was crying soo much. Having them all together at the end, and seeing the plane take off, instead of it crashing with jack there closing his eye, closing the circle was the best way to end :D |
After watching Kimmel and getting a solid 4 and a half hours sleep, I feel better about it. Just thinking about the ending brings some tears very close to the surface. It really was an amazing ending to a great show.
Now I'm left wanting something as engaging on television. It's normally such a wasteland. |
The first few seasons were always best.
I'm not a fan of how they went with the last season or the ending. This whole season should have been answering questions. Instead they create more and try to wrap it up with one episode. Left way to many plot holes imo. And kimmel made me mad with the spoof endings. I stayed up for legit stuff not the writers screwing around. So now what was with polar bears, darma, the button, what about walt, Ben, Jacob and his brother, the whole heart of the island thing. Also if Michael died at the island and is now stuck there why were jin and sun in the church? Ugh I'm dissatisfied with the ending! |
I actually liked the Kimmel endings. :D (The Survival ending was my absolute favorite.) Though I'm not too fond of Kimmel's comedy (except when it comes to anything related to "Lost").
But you're right; instead of answering many questions, it just created a whole new plotline... It did answer some questions, though, like what the smoke monster was, who Jacob and his brother were and where they came from... and a few other things. |
Yeah but I just feel like there is so much left out haha! Did you notice the kid who played Jacob pop up randomly on kimmel rotfl!
|
I'd be fairly pissed off if I was a fanatic of Lost and watched it for the six years of airing. Not only did some questions go unanswered, it's almost like a kick in the crotch for people who made up huge theories on how to explain Lost. It's sorta funny if you think about. The entire 6 years of the show was answered with one word; purgatory.

Lost...I was lol. I only watched the first season then meh, just lost interest in it :P lol

I still love the show, season 2 was great!!! I remember when I got my sisters into it and we watched like 4 seasons over Christmas break :D
Its awesome watching it all over again with someone who hasnt seen it and seeing their reactions! Hahaha! |
Better leaving some things to the imagination and audience, rather than completely telling the story, and answering every darn thing the viewer wanted. Lost has a mythos, and churning out everything about it would ruin the mystery that encompasses the entire show.
