A two-year-old "Ciggie Smalls" Indonesian toddler smokes 40 a day. Will this world get any worse?

Hell with this, I'm moving to Pandora.

I can't decide if this is hilarious or sad.

Absolutely sad. I wonder why his parents would give him a cigarette in the first place?
This is especially sad, since my best friend's stepdad died from this recently- puked blood all over the floor and died in immense pain. Every time I see a cigarette now... uugh. :'(

So sad... People are doing this to themselves, letting others, and even profiting from it... :'(

What is wrong with that kid's parents? why would they think that giving cigarettes to a kid is a good idea? I think there should be some sort of test that you have to take before you're allowed to have kids.

That is just sad. Incredibly sad. Poor kid probably won't make it to high school.

However, while Pandora is awesome, we're stuck with Earth. Might as well deal with it.

Hmm... watching this doesn't make me very sad but still, that kid has no idea what he's gotten him self into. And the parents a really effed up too. How could they let him do that??? Dispicable...

Poor kid:( Not only will his health be ruined, but also be left wondering why his parents allowed him to do something so terrible to himself. What a sick and sad world...

Now come on! It's modern civilization that's the problem. Don't blame the world. Dude! Earth is our own little Pandora. Enjoy it!

Sometimes it's difficult for me to imagine, how stupid humans are! The only thing they're good at is destroying this, what's beautiful.

i read about this on the internet news a few days ago, I don't know how or why the kid started but if the parents don't give him cigarettes he throws a tantrum and it gets to the point where the parents cant take it anymore so they have no choice but to let him smoke.

No you're not fed up with Earth, you're fed up with people walking it. Earth itself is a beautiful place to be in, just our civilization is retarded. How could you ever blame earth?

Isn't the New York Post a tabloid? Is there a better source for this? How do we know it wasn't made up to shock?

I remember hearing this... I was so sick and disturbed. Obviously it didn't just walk/crawl up to a pack of cigarettes, grab a lighter, and light one up and know how to use it. This world is so quickly making me sick and disturbed beyond the point of sanity. Sometimes I just want to walk outside and grab my head and scream.

This sick twisted world is something I wanted to be lightyears away from after Avatar (maybe before Avatar, but Avatar affected me the most), but the sickening thought is that I'm living right on it. And when I say "world" I mean a majority of the people living in this world. Obviously there is still beauty and loving people in this world, you all are proof of that

I want to run away to Pandora, but since that's not possible I'll have to flee to a small island in the Bahamas.

This is very sad. Who would be that clueless about the harmful affects of cigarettes? It's things like this that make me wonder if there is any hope left for the human race. How can we be so destructive, killing ourselves, others, and our mother Earth, and be so apathetic about it. It makes me sick.

As for Pandora, first flight out, I'm on it. Was just thinking, wouldn't it be awesome if we all went to Pandora together as Avatars? :party:

I'm with you on going to Pandora, as a Na'vi though. It would SUCK as a human. Everyone would just look at you funny like..."heh, tawtute skxawng." :)

Psh, on Pandora it wouldn't matter if you made a loan for all the money in the world and used it to fly to Pandora, you're 4.4 light years away from Earth, but the homesick I could (possibly) see... thats me though I'm not you obviously haha
