ToS DoW Tourney?

Would anybody else be interested in perhaps running a small ToS DoW solo/team tourney?

Or even just doing some random matches?

ToS DoW tourney?

If we are talking about Dawn of War 1 (with all expansions), I'm up for it ;)

If we're talking about Dawn of War 2, bleh. No thanks. :P

ToS DoW tourney?

I get bored quickly in RTS games. I'm more of a FPS player really :D

Eltu 06-03-2010 08:32 PM

I love single-player FPS's (Half-Life 2, Deus Ex, Bioshock, etc...)

I hate multi-player FPS's (Counter-Strike, Call of Duty's MP mode, etc...)

:P

I know I sinned myself, but...

Let's keep the thread on-topic ;)

So we now have...

Two interested.

One who owns a copy. Yes, this would be DoW1 with any and all expacs that people have available.

Also, what expacs would we be doing?

I know I personally dont have SS available, but have the other two. Any restrictions needed?

My favorite place to shop is Amazon, but you can probably get it at Gamespot. If you like Real Time Stragety games, you'll love it. It's kind of like Company of Heroes, which is another awesome RTS game.

Nice, Im very interested in RTS games, got a couple myself (SupCom 1 + 2, Homeworld 2 etc).

Sorry for getting slightly offtopic but...

If you like Supreme Commander, you HAVE to check out its predecessor, Total Annihilation, and its Escalation mod. About 5 people in this forum already have it and we play online games now and then ;)

Supreme Commander was originally going to be called Total Annihilation 2 ;)

For this not to get offtopic, PM me if you are interested. It is a truly wonderful game. :D

If i had the time, I'd name everyone of those units.
You've got Salem-class Cybran destroyers crawling from the left, I think those are Monkeylords, either that or megaliths, and there's a UEF Fatboy II in the middle right.

Easy. ;)

That unit was made *way* before SupCom 2 even got announced ;)

Well, the same for all units :P

Total Annihilation was released in 1998, and quickly got a large fanbase. Personally I think that Supreme Commander is good, but TA is better. It has more personality ;)

Besides, it works on ANY computer :D

If you feel interested in trying some online games with some of us on the forums (we are about 5 who have the game and play it), feel free to PM me and I can send you a download link ;)
