Hello Out There!
Life on Titan?
This is certainly new... Even if there is an "alternative" (posited at the end of the article) that explains it, this shows conditions necessary for life can exist on other planets (methane-based life in this case). |
My brother pointed this out to me yesterday :). I find it fascinating. Granted, it could be another sort of chemical reaction unrelated to a biological process but then again....who knows???
|
wow that's cool. It will be funny once mankind will find out there are tons of planets with existing life on them and we once thought we were the only ones. :D
|
Im not gonna run out of my house screaming until they know for certain.
Sure astronomers have proposed that life can exist in the atmosphere of Venus. |
Btw if they discover some microbes or whatever, I hope they won't be bringing it to earth. I don't wanna be extinct.
|
Here's another possibility of life : Have We Contaminated Mars with Life?
|
Certainly a possibility :)
Titan is very much like a colder version of early Earth. |
Hm. Maybe my dream of having a pet Horta isn't completely out of the question after all! :D
