Oh my God...

...New Moon won? I have a guilty pleasure for New Moon (one of the few guys in the world that actually liked it), but I'm truly disgusted that it won over Avatar.

I mean, seriously. Even the MTV Movie Awards, one of the most parodistic events ever created, practically comparable to the Razzies as a legitimate award show, and not even they gave the award to Avatar.

Amazing. Absolutely amazing.

I agree, just shows that society prefers pale, anemic moping teens who cant make a concrete decision over something that is intelligent and a visual masterpiece.

Excuse me while i go gag about sparkly vamps....sheesh, vamps arent meant to sparkle.

I don't understand it, one of the most popular movies (based on cinema visitors count and blu-ray) and no award. Are the people looking just for visuals when watching avatar ??

Gotta admit, the award show itself was awesome. The performances were great (aka Katy Perry and her t*ts). Lol. I knew not to get my hopes up too high for Avatar to win though cause they would've been crushed. :( Twilight only won b/c people make a rediculous big deal of it, then vote it, without even thinking about giving the other nominees a chance. They do not see. Tawtute Skxawng.

I knew as soon as I found out that New Moon was nominated for Best Movie, that it would win. I voted Avatar for every category I could and apparently it didn't get any awards at all? What a joke! I only watched the last few minutes of the show to see the Best Movie award and as soon as she said New Moon, I turned off my TV. :D

It sickens me, all those teenage girls are brainwashed and that's how it won. LOL.:D:P I bet they all saw Avatar too and thought it had great visuals and nothing more. It didn't have their beloved Edward.

Yeah. I'm not really all that surprised. I mean, it's MTV. Of course Twilight is going to win in every category. I didn't finish it. I just thought the whole thing was..weird. Were any of the cast from Avatar even there?

Well of course I don't care about it not winning. I knew right from the beginning New Moon would win. It's still sad because a very high percentage of kids/teenagers these days are too mainstream and are blinded by all the crap that is available in this day and age.

I'm not surprised at all. Since it was MTV, there was almost a 100% guarantee that New Moon would clean up. I've never seen either movie, only a bit of Twilight.

On the other hand, my sister is absolutely obsessed with everything Twilight so everyday I hear something about it or Robert, or whenever something on TV is related to it.

It's a shame that Avatar didn't get at least one award:'( Oh well, I despise MTV anyway...

So, I guess I'm not the only one who despises MTV. ;)

Oh come on, i usually would watch MTV but for the awards until now. I grew up in the 80's and 90's as a kid and teenager watching MTV sometimes even for some videos, Beavis, Aeon Flux, The Head, The Maxx, Jackass and that sort of thing. Now they blow and even their award show stink.
