Cool, reminds me of my 2nd favourtite artist Claude Monet who is an impressionist. William turner seems to be an impressionist as well as they both have big brush strokes and vivid coulour which reflect light and movement.

Monet is nice too (and yes, Turner is also (one of the earliest) impressionists.) I was at a art exhibition this weekend about Turner, Monet and Twombly you see. It was through that which I fell inlove with Turner. :) I can like Monet too, put I'm a bit put off by his "dab" technique. And I don't even want to speak about Twombly  His art is literally worth nothing in my eyes. I can't even understand why you would combine his art with Monet and Turner (they're all impressionists, yeah, but his art is just a lot more modern) They don't really fit together. Google "Twombly" and you'll see.

Well that's the thing about art, it appeals differently to different people. ;)

Personally, I do love Monet. His art just seems to full of life to me.

That's very true, full of life and light. :) I do like William Turner's work as well though, especially the landscapes and his detail to uniforms.

I just googled Twomby..Well all to their own, art is about different interpretations and techniques but it does seem similar to something a 5 yr old's artwork..Though the colours are nice.

(This looks like a big pile of spaghetti and meatballs) ;)

To be honest I've never been a huge fan or abstract/modern artwork and I prefer portraits/tapestries and landscape art though modern artwork can be interesting..Like Dr Seuss type landscapes.

I look at the stars and imagine people looking at Earth's sun from those systems and wondering if there's life there :)
