The One Na'vi Bone in my Body

Everyone has Na'vi in them? You decide.

Think this bone in the foot symbolizes how the name was given to their species?

That they run a lot and are barefoot? Maybe? Think about it.

Okay, I'll admit it. I smiled...

Buzzkill.

Elyannia 06-15-2010 01:28 AM

But Na'vi and Navi come from the same latin root don't they? To Navigate :P

Txum_kali'weya 06-15-2010 01:52 AM

Na'vi isn't an english/latin word... its a... Na'vi word...

Vauktu 06-15-2010 01:55 AM

I believe that's more of a coincidence than anything else.

oh well it just has a apostrophe added. you dont think theres any coincidence that the latin word Navi means to navigate? Do the Na'vi not navigate really good? For all we know JAmes cameron just added the apostrophe to make it his own from Navi.

Txum_kali'weya 06-15-2010 02:35 AM

well, it changes the pronunciation...

Zoë(and JC, and sam) says 'navi' in one interview i saw but Neytiri says 'Na'vi'

Autumnshire 06-15-2010 03:29 AM

Petrucho 06-15-2010 03:44 AM

Human No More 06-15-2010 05:30 PM
