(And El, I agree...creepy weeping angels! Haven't seen that episode yet! :D ) |
The angels..I think I saw an episode like that with Tennant where statues moved..Not sure is they were angels or Gargoyles I didn't get a good look ;)

I'm biologically female, but selected the both option as I have traits of both. Androgyny is the word for it I think. A balance between the two, regardless of biological difference.

I'm one of them males.
But i'm not all cars, guns, women and drink. :D |
Me neither.
Apart from guns and WMDs maybe. ;) |

Since the poll gadget appears to broken:
Male |
Male
I really don't see the point of having a third option, since isn't this poll to address whether one is physically male of female? So can we please not go into the behavioral stereotypes? There is no such behavior, that would make a man any less manly or a woman any less womanly, because there is no such a thing as manly or womanly behavior. They are all made up values, and they only exist because so many people strive to fit into them, so they would not stand out as somehow different. |
If this thread is for your biological sex via chromosomes and physical appearance then you are either male or female (or either if you are an hermaphrodite). Main reason I voted both is because I don't see myself with female associated behaviours, I feel I have a balance of both behaviours of each sex. Men and women do act differently in general, in part because of the development of gender roles and innate behaviours that we have evolved to have. Nature and nurture create who we are. I love gender psychology, really interesting!
So I'm physically female but don't associate myself with stereotyped "female behaviours". So androgynous really. Confusing! |
You are who you think you are inside. That's all that matters.

This is an interesting discussion. I am definitely not a "girly" girl (alright, so my toes are sparkly but it's my birthday this weekend and I honestly don't remember when they were last anything other than plain, natural toes :D ). I prefer to see traits and attributes in a more yin versus yang sort of perspective. In that sense, everyone will have aspects of both the yin and the yang, like the examples HNM gave, things like sensitivity, use of logic, thought patterns, etc., but it doesn't make anyone more or less male or female, I think, to lean toward either end of that spectrum.
There are very real biological processes that create "male" and "female", completely separate from our states of mind, and they have an impact on our whole body. So, the fact that I can dress as quickly (if not quicker) than my husband in the morning and can carry heavy things doesn't make me any less female, I think. :) Those are just the surface traits that come from personality and individual choices. |
There's only one real difference between males and females.
Hormones. Us guys are stuck with them. You lucky swines.... |
