Deus Ex 3.
 

As some of you already know, I am a HUUUGE fan of the video game Deus Ex (and got hugely disappointed by Deus Ex 2 :P).

I have completed Deus Ex about 20 times, know every line by heart... I'm a die-hard fan, so to speak. It's simply the best game ever made in the history of mankind.

The recent month, with E3 and all, there have been A LOT of info revealed about the new Deus Ex game - Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

At first I was... doubting, especially considering the poor quality of the second game in the series. But as more and more stuff got explained, more was shown of the game... what can I say? I am EXTREMELY hyped up.

I am INSANELY EXCITED. This is going to be the best game in history.

I have never been so eager to experience an artistic production before. (Avatar was unexpected, so it doesn't count.) The loooong wait until next year for its release is going to KILL me. I cannot stand this...

Anyone else played the first game(s)? What do you think of the sequel?

Argh, now I gotta stop typing and listen to the official DX3 soundtrack a little more...

After having tried Deus Ex 3 (after only having played the fourth in the series), I must say - it was a huge letdown.

Now I need to get back n tinker on my time-machine, kthx.

Never played the first two, so I have no idea what's really going on in that trailer, but it looks pretty badass.

I just bought a pc Gamer magezen yesterday with the feature on artical Deus ex 3. Exited!:D

I saw this trailer a week ago I was giggling like a little girl (but then I coughed and used my man voice) when I saw it. The cinematics looks great but it isn't really a game trailer when no gameplay is shown in it. :S

Still though the last like ten seconds of the trailer is totally badass! :)

There is a leaked gameplay trailer too - that I managed to see just before Youtube removed it. It's gone now, but from watching it I can assure you...

THIS GAME IS GOING TO BE THE BEST IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND!

I'm not having high hopes on this one. Then again trailers rarely tell the whole truth one way or another, so I guess I'll just have to wait and see for myself to be sure.

I didn't have high hopes on this game in the beginning, either.

After looking at both DX2, and the nature of most games today, it looked bad indeed.

But after seeing the E3 trailer and the gameplay trailer... I'm convinced. The story is there, the gameplay is there, the style of the graphics is there, the music, the characters, everything.

Oh, yes, most certainly. When I heard the third game is coming out, I got so excited it is almost pathetic.

Small gameplay trailer was released a while ago now.

I am considering freezing myself into a block of ice for a while. Could someone wake me up when Deus Ex 3 has been released please?

Deus Ex is great, although I must admit I prefer other games for favourite ever...
(perhaps if Deus Ex wasn't so focused on tedious stealth missions... :S )

It's more like,

Be it stealth, violence, hacking, etc, etc, etc...

Perhaps if there were more rockets available for the GEP gun :P ;)
Not too bad now I have the assault rifle though :) , plus a bit more skill on the sniper rifle means it doesn't keep missing.

I do love setting the sentry guns to shoot their own guards though :war:

Yeah, it's not very long, and some of it is cinematics, but there are some gameplay scenes in it ;)

Just watched it. The in-game graphics are very polished and detailed, very much like FFXIII (which I'm not surprised by as both games are made by the same developer). Which means - awesome in-game cinematics! :D

Actually, they are not made by the same developer.

FFXIII is developed by Square Enix. DX3 is developed by Eidos Montreal.

Square Enix do make the cinematics for DX3 but have nothing to do with the rest of the game. ;)

Oh... well... now I feel stoopid... :hmm:

Well, it's been delayed (a good thing, if you ask me :P) - it will be released between April this year and April the next year.

Most likely somewhere between April-June this year. ;)

April-June? Thank the gods! I have exams at the end of May -- which are critical for my future career prospects -- and I was hoping it'd be sometime around June. Less distractions ;)

Deus Ex: Human Revolution has released its release dates: 23rd of August for North America and the European release should be three days later (August 26).
