Hey, don't put yourself down like that. There are plenty of people to whom age and health/disability are irrelevant, and neither of those define who you are on their own. My ex boyfriend was over 35, and he was an amazing guy. It didn't work out, but that had nothing to do with the age gap and we're still friends. Don't worry; you'll be someone's first choice. Thankfully everybody's different and the "celebrity television" type of relationship isn't everyone's ideal. :)

Okay, so I don't think I've talked much about my self on here before, but I want to express my feelings on here, because I like it here.

For the past ten years I've been dealing with feelings I've had. I didn't really know I had theses feelings until I was about 20 or so, but up until a few days ago I haven't really made a solid look into them, but after seeing "The Nutcracker and the Four Realms" they pretty much came to light again after putting them away for so long.

I knew I was bisexual for a while, but after seeing the movie, feeling came out in me that I put away for a long time. I'm genderqueer. I have a body of a male, but I do have these girly feelings. I'm a heavy, beard guy, but after seeing The Nutcracker, all these feelings came flooding out, and it got to be a little too much. When I saw Keria Knightley as The Sugar Plum Fairy, I realized that she was like the inner me. The soft, sweet, baby voiced pink fairy was me this whole time. I pushed her away for long. I just want to hug her and cry. Now, I know that I'm not trans, but I just don't fit into the man gender firmly anymore.

Thank you for reading.

Wow, that's really special; I wish I knew the exact thing that made me realize I was trans! (You mentioned you're not trans, but it's something of similar gravity)

And welcome to the club; at this point non-LGBTQ+ are the minority in the Avatar community. It's definitely an interesting trend.

Right on! I'm glad you've had this affirming realization. :)

Interesting. I admit I've never thought of this before, and I likely don't know other people in the Avatar community as well as others to make this assessment. Do you think there's a reason why non-LGBTQ+ are currently the minority?

I think it has to do with "Avatar" being a movie about transformation, and finding your real self. We can all relate to that being LGBTQ.

Edit: Okay, so I was looking up some Genderqueer stuff, and I found Demigirl. Demigirl means half woman, and would fit me the best I think. I feel good about this, but I so wish I realized all this when I was younger.

So, I made a LGBTQ group on here but for some reason it's not letting me put up a picture for it.

^This.

Avatar has really strong transhumanist themes, and being trans or gender-binary-nonconforming is basically applied transhumanism. Who here wouldn't want a sweet new alien body that's an idealized version of yourself in blue?

Sentiments like this are why I have not and will never see the movie Surrogates.

Being bummed out over my inability to buy a $200 PS4 yesterday. I was hoping to get a PS4 + PSVR so I could finally watch Avatar in 3D at home, but alas it was not to be. :'(
