No it really wasn't, I just graduated last year. And yes I was an outcast so what? I don't see what that has to do with anything. Only the popular kids cared about social status, but then again I'm sure that you probable mean anyone who isn't in the "popular" crowd is deemed an outcast? College is serious business. High School....not so much.

If your one of those kids that early on made no friends but the few they already had and never really opened up like the others then your an "outcast". Even if your not part of the in crowd doesnt mean your an outcast
People that actually have some sort of decent reputation like to preserve it. But if your one of those kids with 3 or 4 friends and dont talk to anybody then you probably dont care what people think because you know its too late. Hmmm one quote sort of sums up what im saying: High school is important to those that are important in high school.

Oh, I understand you all too well! I didn`t expect mine to arrive so early and it was such a surprise. Now I can`t wait for my copy of the fan edition of Terry Pratchett`s "I shall wear midnight", cause it has my face on it, and my name inside the book. :D

Heh which is me. I'm a nice guy... it's just no one will talk to me because they all think I'm a little nuts, and/or am too nerdy. I'm fine with that, and I don't care.

I always managed to balance things fairly well, I still do really. I do a lot with computers, then I go out to a gig, get drunk and jump in the pit. I guess balancing it is the right way :)

That link is true though, 99% of the people at my school, I wouldn't have wanted their respect, and in same cases would have been actually annoyed if they had liked me.

I keep my home life and school life seperate and it works well. I used to be sort of an outcast until i just started talking to people and quite frankly I enjoy it. I used to think that I didnt care what people thought of me. But I got rid of those silly thoughts and glad I did.
