anyway, anyone read about the octopus in germany? there's one in a german aquarium which has been predicting all the games germany has played and has predicted correctly all the wins and losses and it predicts that spain will defeat germany :O

Yep I heard about it yesterday:
Germany lost 1-0 to Spain ;) I hope that octopus gets something special for its unbeaten record at predicting winners

anyway I didn't play with the band in months now and I'm loosing motivation to play anymore :( though I will never stop playing

in its tank it has 2 cubes, each with the flag of the countries. it simply moves over to the cube which it thinks will win. hopefully the octopus doesn't get butchered by the germans XD

They probably keep trying until it gets it right, lol. People see what they want to see.

Ok, so my mom went to get me a medium pizza. I gave her $5 which would pay for most of it.

My mom was gone longer than usual. She gets home and says that she waited about 25 minutes for it, then said something to the employees and they had never even put the order through, never made it.

We ended up getting it for free for the long wait. :D Free pizza!

Free stuff is great! I hope she was nice to the employees even though they made a mistake. I hate it when people get angry and yell at employees(coming from someone who works with the public everyday).

Nah, my mom is cool like that. She just told them "Meh, things happen" She doesn't get angry at stuff like that, maybe if it was worse or other things happened but not an easy mistake like that.

whenever we ordered pizza we always got it for free because the driver delivering it always got the street we lived on confused with an avenue of the same name so late pizza = free :D but we havn't ordered in a long time.

I woke up really early this morning for some reason

I have to wake up way to early tomorrow. Why? Because Im here at my grandparents for the weekend and for some reason old people wake up extremly early! XD

Same with my grandma. but she sleeps around 9pm. i don't think i could ever do that (i love staying up to atleast 12am and wake up around 10:30m :P)

i think i should start joggin from now on. i just realized today how unfit i am. starting from tomorow i will go for 30 minute runs (maybe) XD

well it's past midnight and my parents are staying up to watch the soccer world cup final while im upstairs infront of the computer killing time on here. so i why not some poetry :)

Tree of souls, hows it going
seems like the love for avatar has been slowing
it's only natural that fandoms come and go
do i ever want to live that day? never, no
a little over 2 months ago when i joined this site
there was a disturbance on AF which lead to a fight
members arguing over the layout of AF
and some administrative things which got put to an end

resulting in the birth of tree of souls
and many members leaving AF full of holes
holes in what we called a community
but this was inevitable because it was destiny
seeing the usual posters leave was a big let down
but it wasn't enough to turn my smile into a frown
this was the turning point for me on AF
i got to know the members and none of them left

for hours we posted in the fan made games threads
and discussed in the neytiri thread of how she would look with dreads
random topics make good times indeed
the epic battles we fought against the trolls we learned not to feed
posting what the characters would never say
something i used to do all day, everyday
but then a few more people left and so it began
that feeling of you being the only fan

seeing everyone one on the new sister site
was enough to make me join and see the light
that despite differences between the 2 communities
i can still be part of both families
at first i thought i woldn't post alot
but i was very wrong, look how many i've got
i got to know some of the people here quickly
people from AF i never bothered chatting to unfortunately

But lately it seems as though we all just don't see
the bad shiit we are doing to this community
arguments and disputes in many threads appear
people expressing themselves, sick of living in fear
finally saying what they want to say and expressing how they feal
but if you think about it, really, what the fuks the big deal
afterall we are just people behind a keyboard and screen
living the magical, life changing, eye opening dream

the dream that many people never get to see
the dream of feeling rejuvenated and finally being free
we all share a common love and that is the love for Avatar
an inspirational feeling that makes us want to reach beyond the stars
a feeling that makes you feel anything can be acomplished
we must come together and not let this place be deminished
i know its definetely easier said than done
but todays is the day we start, we're back to square one

forgive and forget, please stop the bullshiit
stop with the bitching and egotism because this is it
this is when something we've built over months can come crashing down in one fall
and when it does the blame is on us all
but don't mind me, i'm just another member like you
if you think this whole thing is gay then go ahead and do what you do
i just don't want to see this place go to shiit
we are all pieces of the ToS puzzle that perfectly fit

if you've bothered to read this far than i congratulate you
on your efforts to actually read this through
we are all equal members of this Avatar loving family
and like in the past we can continue to stick around happily
but it's up to all of us to make that come true
hopefully the message of this long a$$ poem has reached you

I feel bad for the people at the front, they just take and give orders, not make them. And heck stuff happens, but when it does some people act like its the end of the world (coming from someone who took a class in service writing for dealerships and auto shops)
