One of the most amazing statues of Neytiri I have ever seen. I might actually buy it, even if it burns a big hole in my wallet. :)

If they know anything about Avatar fans, then they know they could sell something like that for ridiculously high. I'm guessing the statue can go from anywhere between $200 and $700 USD.

Yeah. I think the base looks great, but it might look better if there were some bioluminescent plants.

very detailed, great find :D so this isn't a one off figure? because it sucks when you see these awesome figures and find out it's being auctioned on ebay or something :( i know hot toys has the license to produce avatar characters (and i'm still waiting). As for this Neytiri figure, i won't buy it (although it's very good). Her pose isn't cool enough and i bet it costs heaps. and a 1:4 would be big and i don't have anywhere to put it! XD

You're mistaken. This isn't the statue that went up for sale on eBay several months ago. Sideshow Collectibles revealed this Neytiri figurine just eight days ago.

Something about the hairline, its soo messy an unnatural looking, little nit pick but still it looks pretty bad

I think it looks like her, but the base fails. Its like a boring old earth tree. XD

Sideshow collectibles are pretty good stuff. They've done a lot of the LOTR and other movies. They are the top of the line collectible company, all of which is out of my price range. It is actually pretty accurate given that it's a statue and a 1:4 scale. Don't knit pick it... you're dealing with a different media and for what they're doing, it's beautiful.

That is obviously taken at Comic Con... What other stuff do they have that's Avatar related?

yeah i want to know as well, because although i said i wouldn't buy it because it's expensive, if they had a range of figures (jake, grace, tsu'tey etc..) i think i would buy the whole set :D maybe buying more than one means you get a discount

1:4, it says in the title, although it does seem a little less than that considering how tall real Neytiri would be (and, yeah, do want life size...)

Looks terrific! :D The face/eyes on this one are by far the best of any of the statues I've seen.

yes, I bought one a few months back actually. It is really a great little figure. I got collector's number 400. :)

Here's my piece. I modded it a little bit. I use a special paint so the glow for 5 hours at least. As you can see the paint is transparent.

i want them to release some of the creatures. thanator would be awesome, Neytiri riding the thanator would be even more awesome :) either that or release another character, i'm not happy with the hot toys jake Sully (i prefer a non articulated figure) so jake sully, or grace would be good
