A little cluttered, perhaps, but pretty nice.

iron_jones 09-11-2011 02:08 AM

That does look a little cluttered. In my humble opinion. Try to space it out in a way. Unless you can read it fine like that.

I got a new (AMD) gfx card and decided to try the open source drivers...

Inspired by Deus Ex: Human Revolution, obviously :D

Human No More 09-21-2011 02:23 AM

Not bad :)
Does that mean I can hack it with a convenient hacking GUI though? :P

I admit, I have a Miley Cyrus fetish.

... Minecraft! :P (Yes, I never rearrange my Win7 icons, the only thing I seem to change is the background lol)

I wonder the same thing... :P

Also, made some updates to mine - changed the Windows font and text renderer, and a lot of minor changes:

I love Knights of The Old Republic. One of my very favourite RPG's, hands down.

The Old Republic, the plain opposite. There are not many things I dislike as much as MMO's, so... yah. :P

What are Revan and Malak doing in art for The Old Republic? It's set 300 (or is it 500?) years after the events of the KotORs.
I also love this game and KotOR II

Also, do want that Revan + Malak wallpaper

Here's my netbook one:

Knights of the Old Republic is one of my favorite games of all time.

I hear of a sequel of sorts.

I find out what the sequel is.

I find MMOs completely boring and uninteresting.

I cry.

Sacred Tsahaylu 09-28-2011 09:36 PM

Eltu, I told you about KotOR II: The Sith Lords. Go and get it.
It's nowhere near as polished and finished as the first but it's a good game besides. We shan't mention The Old Republic anymore

stdout 09-30-2011 10:02 PM

Still the Serif Industries wallpaper, but with a new theme which I think suits it better:

My laptop isn't too awesome resolution either.

HDD broke so I had to reinstall everything. Testing out the Ubuntu 11.10, appears to be working much better than 11.04 which I never really used because of few killer bugs.

I just can't help praising the enlightenment desktop. The background is animated, slowly going from day to night and back. About all the other parts of the UI are heavily (but not annoyingly) animated too, with no noticeable cpu load. The efficiency and customizability of e17 have no match :)

I still like to "keep it simple"

My new desktop - on a new machine...

Since my old notebook decided to die on me - fortunately after I backed up important data on an external USB HDD - I had to get a replacement... and this is now what the desktop on my new machine looks like:

1. Showing the best forum in the world :D opened in Firefox with a Neyney eyes theme:

http://www.tree-of-souls.com/members...best_forum.jpg

2. Showing the plain desktop with the most beautiful native girl in all worlds:

VLC plays Soma.FM, channel: Suburbs of Goa

Windows Classic is the way to go; it freed up a ton of ram for me. How can you live with the gigantic taskbar though? It makes any screen seem way too small. (Right click taskbar --> properties --> use small icons, show labels, combine when full) Also, dat wallpaper. :awesome:

Thanks to the HD pictures of Neytiri thread right here, I have quite a large selection of nice pics to choose from... But this one is my current favourite, regarding sweetness.

You're right about that - I just corrected it. The desktop will change a bit in the future considering more icons, too, since I purchased the Avatar Game as an online download version and am currently downloading the install files...
:awesome:

Woops, this should rather go into the Christmas presents thread, since I sort of made me another belated holiday gift here.

Hmm, great self-gift there. I really like the game, still play it occasionally. But sadly the multiplayer is empty and the campaign got many a lackluster review. I still haven't played the RDA side, nor do I intend to. I'm happy with my female Na'vi character. (kinda a completist so I got an insane amount of EXP on that profile, starting over... i think I'd cry. :D)

Human No More 01-02-2012 02:55 AM

Yeah, I haven't played the RDA one either, and I do not want to.
Experience isn't that hard to get, it;s easy enough to get the maximum in a playthrough before the final mission, but then, I'm a completionist too :P
