I personally don't understand why someone hasn't:

1) Sent in some covert ops/spies/ninjas/etc. to assassinate all of the higher leaders, liberating the country and probably destabilizing anything they have left in terms of structure.

2) Bomb wherever the hell he lives in the middle of the night from really really high in the sky (idk how radar/detection technology really works, so idk how well this would work.)

But yeah, no one's giving them money any time soon. It'd be best just to let them continue to starve (monetarily) until Kim dies, and then seize the country or something while they are weakened.

Unfortunately, I very much doubt Obama's got the balls to pull a stunt like that. If that happens, it either gets resolved, or there WILL be nuclear war.

Most likely, if it does happen, it will be China, Russia or India who nuke North Korea.
