"Avatar tribe" wins over Mining Giant

Recently in the news. I think it's awesome. So far I haven't gotten enough information, so I can't say too much about it, but it looks like a group of people fighting the power, and winning! Hoo-rah!

Victory over Vedanta in 2010 was historic, but April's court case threatens the Dongria once again.

They will try again and again until they manage to get them off the mountain and mine it, it seems. Honestly - beating up people that prepare food for a sacred ceremony in which the people renew their relationship to the mountain - how low can they get. :(

Sure there is. But it seems that the celebrations for final victory were a bit premature - the victory will have to be defended! I dont say give up - on the contrary, I think the fight goes on, though I would have preferred it if there would not have to be a fight. What I am saying is that as long as global capitalist industrial corporations are around, there will probably be not much time for any land based people to sit back and relax, enjoying their victory...
