Guns N' Roses gets bottled off stage at the O2, Dublin.

After the support band finished playing, fans had to stand for more than 2 hours until GNR made their appearence. No explanation let alone an apology for their tardiness and were met by booing and bottle throwing. Axl, the lead singer halted their opening song and warned they would leave if more bottles were thrown. Not too long later and more were thrown and the band left stage. A spokesperson said there were 'technical difficulties' which the crowd responded with laughter. Later security guards began ushering fans out as it was assumed the concert was over and were told they could get a refund. The band returned an hour later and those who left under the impression that it was over weren't allowed back in and would not receive a refund.

I think both sides are appalling. The crowd shouldnt have acted the way they did but the band should've arrived on time and respect their fans by at least offering an explanation for why they were late.

tbh, I sympathize with the crowd. If your late, you at least acknowledge it. Being "famous" doesn't mean your above little things like that.

True. Being late for a concert doesn't show much respect for the fans either, they forked out the cash to be there only to have to stand around for 2 hours until the band decided to show up. Meh.

Not the first time GNR has done this either.

Axl can be an idiot, but I've supported him in this and playing late at Reading - annoying scenes should be made a legal sport :awesome:

I thought that was GNR too, yeah James almost died by walking into a pyro pod during the Fade to Black intro. Then GNR took hours to come on stage and left. A Riot ensued.

Man that's just wrong. Where would they be without their fans? That's right - nowhere.
