Unified theory

I found some documentary about string theory and how it change view of universe and if it can become unified theory. It is a few years old but I thing it is nice introduction and leaving hard mathematic details behind...

String Theory lives up to its name sake as theory. String Theory has yet to predict or prove anything in the physical universe and it must do so to be confirmed, at least its been taken seriously.

Despite this, I think I'll stick with Hawking's progress towards the Theory of Everything.

Well, yes since they can't observe "strings" it's still mathematical concept, so it's perfectly safe from disapprove (that's not good state of things :( ) ... Anyway it's interesting idea.
