I love Portishead... I haven't heard that many songs of theirs, in truth, but every track I have heard has been pretty brilliant. 9/10.

Probably one of my favourite movie quotes sampled in this track;

Hmm, interesting, but I liked the original gameboy version a lot more. 6/10.

Damn Oak, you've done it again you son of a bitch.
(If nothing else, please god listen to the build-up and solo at 1:30. That is some insane beauty.)

Yeah, really not a fan of this kind of rap... No substance to it. 2/10.

Just finished this game, and I think it has one of the best OSTs I have ever heard. First Mirror's Edge, now this... Dice have impeccable taste in music style.

Honestly I think complaining about lack of substance is very ironic considering the track you posted (sorry if that comes across as "harsh", I don't mean it like that :P). Neither the bass nor the high pitched beeping noise go anywhere or do anything unexpected. 1/10

This is somewhat repetitive too but not in the same way.

It has to be said, that is very true in some ways... The progression of the bass is a well-trodden formula musically, that progression has been used many times before, and perhaps the beeps over the top don't offer an awful lot of 'interest', but that progression happens to be one of my favourite and I just felt a general atmosphere to it. Maybe it's contextual with the end of the game and the feelings tied to that, I don't know. At least (in my opinion) it's better than a bunch of guys talking about "dollar, rides and hoes". :P

As for what you posted in return, for me, that is the kind of OST music I greatly dislike. Standard orchestral fayre that could have come from any blockbuster made in the last 10 years. Then again, to each his own I would suggest. ;)

3/10.
