Maybe tomorrow
Perhaps you were planning making that dreamt voyage to the unknown,
or going visit someone you loved but felt lonely; perhaps you were about to help someone in need, but it can always wait for tomorrow. Perhaps you wanted to write a new novel or had a great story to tell, or walk by the woods, the seashore, the mountain or the grass fields; maybe meeting an old friend, but you can always leave it for next year. Until there are no years left, and no days remain on the calendar. As if your time were more valuable to spend in things you never requested, or never asked for, neither desire. Life ends one minute at a time. If you looked back right now, and saw all the time you spent, would you be grateful of having lived, and say that you didn't leave anything undone? Or will you regret something? But there's still time for that. It's not next year, it's not next week or tomorrow. It's this very moment, this very minute, this second that's going by right now. Seize it. Fill it. |
Your words hold both great significance and great truth.
Welcome back, by the way. :) |
Don't think I'll be actually back. I'll post sporadically till then; but my studies and projects demand me much at the moment.

Powerful and wise words Zen! :'(
|
Esentially, these are words that scream "Carpe diem!" to everyone. I found it to be most empowering personally, we should be making the best of the day's gifts...
Thanks Zenit. :) |
