What do YOU use?

The choices are above.

I use Google Chrome because it is a fast and efficient browser.

Thorinair 03-18-2010 07:45 AM

I also use chrome :D

Tsmu`kan 03-18-2010 07:49 AM

Firefox. I like the looks of it and is for me easiest to use.

(I hope we don't have to close this because it turns into a browserwar.)

Vauktu 03-18-2010 07:52 AM

Firefox. Been meaning to check out Google Chrome but haven't gotten around to it.

Woodsprite 03-18-2010 07:54 AM

I was an IE guy for a long, long, long, long, long, long, long...

...long, long, LONG time. But a few months ago I switched to Firefox. Firefox is faster, but some of the nifty properties that IE had aren't on Firefox. Still though, I prefer my new browser. :D

guyguy 03-18-2010 08:05 AM

i use firefox now, with of course, avatar skins

Helicoradian 03-18-2010 08:15 AM

Firefox because of customization, but it's been a bit buggy lately. So might end up trying chrome:)

Chris 03-18-2010 08:30 AM

Firefox, been wanting to try out Chrome since there are so many positive reviews around, but i have been with firefox so long that i guess i sort of developed a 'bond' with it ;)

I mean you dont get neytiri and then swap for Ninat because someone told you she is great... right ^^

Human No More 03-18-2010 08:34 AM

Firefox mostly, but I also have chrome and use it occasionally for some things. Firefox is my far my main browser though :)
Chrome isn't bad, but it's missing a lot of features (and most of it's interface :P )

~ViperSB1~ 03-18-2010 08:37 AM

IE for me. Tried Firefox but hard to get used to after using IE for SOOOOOOO long.

Eltu 03-18-2010 08:39 AM

Opera 10.5 here.

Wonderful, really fast browser with mouse gestures, which I LOVE :D

With the right settings and skin Opera 10.5 is the best browser there is today, in my opinion :D

Immo39 03-18-2010 09:00 AM

Safari here- mainly as I use a Mac so its more suited..

I'm not one who goes for customizability so I'm fine with it :)

Agreed! When it comes to skins for a browser, there is no competition for Opera. I remember using that browser several years ago and loving all the different skins. However, even the large variety of skins wasn't enough to keep me from switching to Firefox. ;)

Fkeu'itan 03-18-2010 12:41 PM

IE when i'm on the laptop, Safari when on the Mac.

FoxDie130 03-18-2010 12:54 PM

In order of what I use:

Mozilla Firefox - So good for web developers with all of the extensions.
Opera - All round awesomeness, but there is one or two things that I don't like about it.
Chrome - Fast and simple. TOO simple.
IE - Buggy, hell it even has an input type called...CRASH! NIGHTMARE for web developers.
Safari - I tried it years back and I hated it.

Yeah, don't get me started on how badly IE8 (and below) renders websites and how many fixes you need to use to make it work. >_>

Tudhalyas 03-18-2010 01:06 PM

Firefox all the way... at least for me! :D

Nektukan 03-18-2010 01:26 PM

those 2 people who are using IE, please.... swap. Now.

R-D-A 03-18-2010 01:56 PM

Firefox :D

RizZy 03-18-2010 01:57 PM

Firefox here.

Sovereign 03-18-2010 02:20 PM

I'd use Chrome, except it lacks Smart Bookmarks Bar. That's a Firefox extension that turns all bookmarks into favicons until you mouse over--then the full text shows. I'm aware you can simply delete the name on a Chrome bookmark to reduce it to its icon, but then you have no idea what it is if there is more than one favicon like it.

Looper 03-18-2010 03:04 PM

Google Chrome Ftw hehe!!!

Sacred Tsahaylu 03-18-2010 03:38 PM

Firefox is well better :D

Apollo 03-18-2010 04:48 PM

I use firefox for many reasons, mostly because of this:

Persona's ftw!

Eltu 03-18-2010 04:50 PM

I admit that IS epic :D

txen 03-18-2010 04:57 PM

Chrome on my old laptop because it is so slow. Browsing with any other browser is painful on that computer. On my faster desktops it's Firefox.

Site 26 03-18-2010 05:01 PM

Firefox has by far worked the best and most consistently for me out of all the major browsers. I've also used a couple smaller scale ones but those were mostly betas and as such often buggy, but still better than the crap IE.

Tanhì 03-18-2010 05:12 PM

Heh... switched from IE to Chrome today, mostly because the new Na'vi BBcode tags wouldn't work on IE :P Dunno... I'm liking Chrome so far, but I want to try Firefox and Opera before I really make a decision.

EDIT: Downloading Firefox as we speak. We'll see how it goes :P

Persona's ftw!

I love personas on Firefox, I keep switching between a few Avatar related ones and one of the awesome face :)

I personally hate firefox with a passion. Every time I use it, it's slow, unreliable and buggy. Don't know if it's just me being cursed or something but that's just what I have experienced.

Things may be different on this computer though, maybe i'll give it a try.

Human No More 03-19-2010 02:22 AM

Firefox has improved a lot recently... It certainly can still be, I'll admit, but in my case that's usually because I've overloaded it with too many tabs again :P

Gunny 03-19-2010 02:52 AM

Use firefox here. Used IE forever and hated it so finally decided to make the switch not to long ago and now anytime I use IE it is weird LOL!

Never used chrome before, may have to try it out now.

Human No More 03-19-2010 02:56 AM

Chrome's not too bad, apart from the fact that think of any feature in any other browser, and there's a ~90% chance it's missing in chrome.
It's good from a performance point of view though.

Leonopteryx 03-19-2010 05:01 AM

FF, im used to it, and i like all the addons.
i dabble in Opera, and safari (on the mac) but mostly FF

J Sully 03-19-2010 06:54 AM

in work firefox
at home safari

Pa'li Makto 03-19-2010 07:00 AM

Firefox: There are less pop ups.
:P

Tanhì 03-19-2010 04:37 PM

Haha, can I change my vote? :P

I have converted to Firefox. It's awesome. I am in love with the personas :).

Eltu 03-19-2010 04:46 PM

Seems like I am the ONLY one who use Opera (10.5) in here...

:P

Leonopteryx 03-19-2010 05:20 PM

This is why i like FF, all custom :P

Tsawke`Iheyu 03-19-2010 05:40 PM

I use Google Chrome, it's very fast and has a not so complicated design. I used Opera, Firefox and Safari, but they weren't fast enough...

Eltu 03-19-2010 05:42 PM

Then you have not tried Opera 10.5 - it is considerably faster than chrome :D
