Should We Start An Avatar Holiday?
 

Does anybody think that we should start our own holiday? I thought about it yesterday at work, and half think I'm nuts, but kinda makes sense. I figure that y'all would be the people to talk to about it. Assuming that we pick a date, these would be my votes:

December 18 (Avatar release date {at least in the US})
August 21 (Cameron's "Avatar Day" promo before the release)

December 18 is kinda close the Christmas. But that seems like the best day to me.

Either December 18th or August 21st would work fine. These two dates have a lot of significance.

I like the idea of a holiday :) It could be a day where we watch Avatar over and over or do something avatar related.

or have a large meeting with discussions and party talk in irc :D

My awakening wasn't until some time in January (a few days in but forgot which exactly), but December 18th is great since that was the actual release :)

August 21st may be more fitting since it was the world-wide release date for the premier, whereas December 18th was the release for only a select number of countries... unless I'm wrong?

I believe Fox declared August 21st as "Avatar Day" somewhere... can't remember where though. :(
