Tsmu`kan 03-18-2010 09:52 AM

My farewell message.

Dear Eltu, Human No More, Kestor, Leonopteryx, Thorinair, zongtseng, ColonelMilesQuaritch, Immo39, Xynth and all other ToS members;

I am sad that I have to do this, but by these I want to let you know that I will be resigning my job as Super Moderator and ToS member.

Recent events have caused a lot of trouble for both ToS and AF. There was an agreement. But not everyone wanted it. And the results are visible.

I don’t understand how it came so far, but it did.

I have enough trouble in real life, I do not want extra trouble online.

I will miss you people. You were my family. But the family fell apart.

I would like to thank a few people.

Eltu, thanks for supporting me and helping me find my way around the AF and ToS.
Kestor, thanks for the great times with your Army and being one of my best friends.
Human No More, thanks for making this forum and supporting the People.
Eonmokri, thanks for the trouble trying to unban me at AF and supporting me.
ToS and AF members, thanks for being my family.

May God support you in your life, and make it worth living it.
Enjoy your life at the fullest while you still can.

My best wishes and goodbye;

Thomas “Tommy” S.; Tsmukan.

PS. I am sorry to disappoint you. I love you all. Oel ngati kameie.

Kestor 03-18-2010 09:55 AM

Oel ngati kameie, brother. I know how you feel and frankly, I'm not sure I'll last much time around here either.

I wish you the best of luck in everything you do. You've been a great friend and I want to thank you for all the support you gave me, though I know I cannot ever fully thank you for it.

Goodbye and good luck. I'll miss you.

- K

Vauktu 03-18-2010 09:57 AM

Please reconsider coming back sometime in the future when all these issues are over. We will miss you very much. :(

Best of luck in real life.

Woodsprite 03-18-2010 10:07 AM

You'll be missed. Hopefully you'll find a place that suits you best... Actually, Na'viBlue might be a pretty good place, but then, I don't know anything about it, except a few banned users I knew went there.

Honestly though, your contribution is clear, considering you've posted over 200 messages in the course of 4 days, and became a moderator in the first place. Gotta say, bravo. Have a good life! :)

Thorinair 03-18-2010 10:11 AM

Aww, man, sorry to hear that :(
I hope everything goes well...

Eltu 03-18-2010 10:15 AM

I am saddened to hear that you have decided to leave both forums, though I understand the reasons you do so.

Know, however, that this place will always be here for you if you decide to return.

Oel ngati Kameie, ma tsmukan.
Kiyevame.

Human No More 03-18-2010 10:26 AM

Sorry to hear that :'(

Eywa ngahu, and I hope you consider returning if things are better for you any time, we'll always welcome you back here...

Sacred Tsahaylu 03-18-2010 11:27 AM

I'm saddened by this news. I hate to see you go :(
The fact that this incident has pushed people away from appreciating the movie is disgusting and I hope for no more casaulties

Nektukan 03-18-2010 11:59 AM

You left me out! :(
jk
Anyway wish you all good in life and remember that in whatever situation you find yourself in, there will always be sun after rain.
bye.

Tudhalyas 03-18-2010 12:36 PM

Tsmu'kan... I'm really sorry that you are leaving this place. I wish you all the best, you are a very kind friend to me. If you ever want to come back, even as a normal user, know that we will always wait for you with open arms.

Oel ngati kameie!

Immo39 03-18-2010 12:58 PM

Sad to see a good fellow leave us, but as echoed by the people who posted above, we'll welcome you with open arms anytime you decide to return.

May you find the best in your future endeavours.

Fkeu'itan 03-18-2010 02:19 PM

This is devastating news.

We will all miss you so much and I would like to repeat what others have said, we will always be here with open arms should you decide to return, which I hope someday you will.

Ewya ngahu and Oel ngati kameie,

Fkeu'itan.

R-D-A 03-18-2010 03:33 PM

I respect what u say man :( best of luck. cya sometime other than now . Hopefully when all this problem is resolved

txen 03-18-2010 04:49 PM

It is a sad day today.

I've not been able to appreciate it all as I have been somewhat isolated from it, but I'm guessing the drama has not calmed down as quickly as I thought it had. That causes stress and who needs more of that in this insane world. I hope with some time away you might be able to return.

Good luck Tsmu`kan and may tomorrow be a better day.

Apollo 03-18-2010 05:01 PM

This is a sad day indeed, but I can't help but think I'm responsible somehow. Sure, the mods at AF were a massive contributor but... was it because I clogged the Forum games section with conversation? We had alot of fun with 5+ members last night talking about stuff. Anywho, you made this forum possible, you helped bring us all together here. I think the community is still strong and intact. I believe it's the existence of two forums binded with one passion that makes it harder to feel the sense of community, because their two different places with different people (It's hard finding even ground in between them). Thomas, your farewell is heard but I'll see it as a cya later; I get the feeling you may want to come back here, and your way more than welcome to. You know we will be here, and will remember this. Please do have a good life if you decide not to turn your ship around Tommy, I suck at saying goodbye.

Truly,
~Oel ngati kameie
You deserve a salute.

Eltu 03-18-2010 05:03 PM

Well said, Apollo. Really well said.

Tanhì 03-18-2010 06:17 PM

I am sorry this has happened, ma tsmukan. I never really knew you, but I loved reading your posts. If you decide to come back, we will welcome you with open arms.

Eywa ngahu, and good luck in whatever you choose to do.

zongtseng 03-18-2010 11:06 PM

There were lots of contributors on both sides. People are naturally going to favor their own side. I'm glad that I have no problem with either side. In fact, I would like to think there are no sides. I would like to see everyone get to that point. Being sore or negative over what has already happened serves no purpose for anyone.

Gunny 03-18-2010 11:12 PM

Sad to see you go Thomas :(

I can say that I do not know the extent of the situation or much of what has gone on lately, but I am sorry that you have been through all of this. I hope to see you around Become, and hope that we do not lose contact.

I wish you the best in your endeavours and hope that everything works out for you.

Grif 03-19-2010 02:58 AM

Part of life is learning how to grieve. You can abandon something that has bad memories or you can hold your head up high and move past it.

Brandon Kellum 03-19-2010 04:22 AM

I'm sorry to see you go my friend, you will be greatly missed :(
I know all this crap is hard to deal with at times, but the friendships that I have formed through the forums are too important to me to let it go. If I have talk to all you I have met through AF, ToS, email, text, snail mail, I don't care how, I will do it. You all mean too much to me to allow this to keep us from talking. I mean that :D

TxonTirea 03-19-2010 08:20 AM

Goodbye ma tsmukan. Oel ngati kameie, ulte Eywa ngahu.
I hope that we see no more casualties from this stupid arguement! I can't take the family breaking apart :'(

Kestor 03-20-2010 02:31 PM

I think it's time for me to tell my farewell message too. (sorry Tsmu`kan for using your thread but I saw little point in making another one).

I won't give a long speech or anything like that, just want to let you know I'll depart from both forums permanently and you'll never see me again around here. Every person has his limits of how much slander, insults, accusations and bashing he can receive, and my limit was pretty high, but I've had enough.

I won't thank specific persons, those who were my friends already know how much I appreciated their support especially in the last days, little point in naming them. But I'd like to thank the community as a whole, you members who visit this place daily and continue to keep it alive in the Avatar spirit. Thank you for being who you are, thank you for your dedication, for your resolve, for making this forum mean much more than a domain on the internet, but like a home. I've enjoyed myself a lot of time here, and while I'm sad it has come to this just because of a few -- albeit very persistent -- persons, I won't forget the moments spent with the rest of you awesome people and the great time I've had in both forums.

Thanks and farewell,

- K

Human No More 03-20-2010 02:38 PM

Damn. I'm going to miss you.

Make sure to drop by the RP section or the shoutbox every now and then.

Fkeu'itan 03-20-2010 05:24 PM

Another twist in the saga.

I'm sorry to hear that you're departing as well Kestor, despite not knowing you all that well. It's never nice to lose someone.

Oel ngati kameie ulte Eywa ngahu.

Tanhì 03-20-2010 05:52 PM

Kestor :(

I am sorry you are leaving. I didn't know you well, but I am going to miss reading your posts and hearing about your amazing army :P. I wish you the best in whatever you choose to do.

Kiyevame, ma tsmukan, ulte Eywa ngahu.

Eltu 03-20-2010 06:15 PM

I have not posted in this matter before, since I has been struggling to find the right words to express my feelings.

I have now written together a post about this whole situation though, posted in the offtopic section. If you feel the interest to hear my opinions, feel free to go here:

Brandon Kellum 03-21-2010 06:27 AM

Kestor and CMQ, I seriously cannot express how much the thought of you guys leaving for good. I know that you're getting a lot of criticism right now, but know that I and many others here and at AF enjoyed your friendship more than words can express. I really hate the thought of you guys leaving!! :(
