List Of Shows That Have Made Avatar References.
Please add to the list if you can think up any more:
The Simpsons Futurama South Park Bones Glee Daily Show Colbert Report |
i for one think that the southpark one was spot on for what i thought about avatar atm IMO

If Dances with Wolves had originated this kind of story then the detractors might have had some kind of point. In reality, Dances with Wolves is one of a very long line of tales stretching back centuries. Avatar is no more 'Dances with Wolves' than 'Dances with Wolves' is 'A Man called Horse' or 'The Emerald Forest'

that really wasnt necessary, i had stated that thats was my opinion at the time

I know. But I find it useful to use as a defense for that kind of thing.

It would be useful if you said what the references WERE (didn't know Bones had one (well, didn't know Glee had one either but that is a program that should be wiped from existence :P )) :P and never watched Daily Show/Colbert Report.

Bones had an entire episode partially devoted to Avatar! An anthropologist character played by Joel David Moore and two other characters watch the trailer on a big screen in their offices. They then decide to skip work so they can wait in line for the film. S05E09
Glee had a character who said he'd seen the film six times and spoke a couple of words in Na'vi. S02E04 I don't watch either show on a regular basis BTW. I just heard they had Avatar references in them and decided to watch those particular episodes. Here's the Daily Show reference: http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/mo...r-woods--faith |
