Is Avatar still showing in your nearest cinema?
 

I was just wondering this. It is for me, it never went off the screens. The number of showngs per day has dropped to two though which makes me think they're going to drop it completely soon... :(

How about you guys?

Yeah, mines still going strong. Got Real 3D still, but down to 2 showings a day now.

Yeah still showing in both actually - one of them doesnt run it in the main room anymore though.

Only in real-d, but the weekend showings are still packed.

Mine is still showing for at least another week, 3 showings a day :D
I am so getting one of those tickets

I have 3 multiplex theaters within a reasonable distance. I have a total of 10 RealD3D showings and 4 2D showings a day, continuing through at least next Thursday the 25th.

It closed up on wednesday.. everyday there were about 9 screens up and running.. I really wanted to see it one last time but hey, I have patience.. and I know it's going to be amazing when I see it again after the big break.

One theater near me continues to play Avatar in 3D three times a day. Good thing it's close, too. The next nearest theater playing Avatar in 3D is 100 miles away.

Mine appears to be doing a one off this weekend or something, but has otherwise stopped in 3D :'(
Going this weekend though because it's on :)

The theatre that is near me is only showing it in 2D three times a day. I was thinking about going today but I had to much housework to do (laundry especially). So, if I get mostly everything done, I will go tomorrow before it comes out of the theatres entirely.

ah, no, it's back :)
Now it only shows 3 to 4 times a day though.. but that's okay.

Edit : just saw that they put it in again , there's 2 showings at saturday and sunday 11:45 , I might go again .

My ole' AMC still shows it in RealD 3D, like most others' here. Has four showtimes...

Haven't seen Avatar in almost 3 weeks after my 9th viewing (I've been too addicted to "Alice" as of late). I've decided I'll see it just one more time in a real Imax when it's re-released with the additional scenes.

Yea still near me as well... Only playing in Real-D 3-D and about4 or 5 times a day... Seeing it at 10:30 tomorrow night and 7 next Friday

I wish I were there... I liked the 2D version when I saw it. Now it's out... :(

Just found out the London IMAX is showing it again, booked for the 29th :D

It's still showing four times a day in 3D at all our major cinemas, but not in 2D, and showing twice daily in 3D gold class as well.
The cinemas aren't silly, not when it is still making money.
