you probably never heard of these guys but you should listen to them. These guys are a metal band from Oakland California and they combine Bay Area thrash metal with British metal. So you're probably thinking oh wow, another metal band :rolleyes: well these guys are actually trying to change how the music industry works. as stated on their site:

"Severed Fifth make all their music freely available under a permissive license, helping to bring their fans closer to the band, and encouraging fans to use Severed Fifth content in their own creative work. Severed Fifth’s vision is a music industry that is fairer for bands and fans."
