Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon

I'm excited. I don't care what others say about Transformers 1 or 2 (especially 2). I loved 'em both, and I'll probably love the third film as well.

Official Trailer:

Discuss.

No labeouf?

No Foxx?

It may not be too bad...

Woodsprite 12-10-2010 05:43 AM

The trailer's more of a teaser. Labeouf is still the star. But no Megan Foxx.

However, Malkovich has joined the cast.

Not worth it.

I can't wait! Really, people just need to have fun watching explosions and hot women all at once. Everything a man needs...lol :D

Not a man who's watching his childhood being torn asunder by Michael Bay.

Some people are a bit more complicated than that......

And I agree with Aiwha as well.

Apollo 12-10-2010 08:12 AM

I try not to think to deeply onto those things. Following lore is one thing, it's another to just sit back and watch explosions lol. I love action. Imma leave it at that.

Entertainment value.

Need I say more? ;)

Teen angst is not entertainment. I don't give a damn about the protagonist or his problems, Transformers is about robots beating each other up while Earth stands by watching.

Oh wow this looks much more promising than originally expected. Greatly respecting the much more serious tone taken, much like the first. I'll excuse the sequel if this lives up to what I think might be a great movie. Excited now. :)

I wonder if Megan Fox leaving would have an effect on movie popularity, hopefully not but probably yes ;)

Impressionist 12-10-2010 04:26 PM

Awesome! :awesome: Can't wait! I hope Linkin Park will perform a song for the soundtrack again, like in the two other parts. :P

From Yahoo! News:

It's a fun teaser, and one that almost makes you forget the painful viewing of the bloated second movie.

Bay himself has promised 'Transformers' fans a better movie than the last one, telling Empire: “We have a more serious story this time, and I'm trying to make up for movie two. We got rid of the dorky comedy, I mean we've got two little characters, that's it, but the dorkiness is not there. Dork-free 'Transformers'. It's still entertaining..."

Shia LaBeouf is reprising his role as Sam Witwicky, while British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is replacing Megan Fox as his love interest.

'Transformers – Dark of the Moon' will be released on 1 July next year.

Leyra 12-10-2010 07:38 PM

Ooh, I'm so looking forward to this. I watched an interview with Shia Labeouf, and he claimed that this one was going to be much darker, and people will die. dun dun duuun

seconded.

Apollo 12-10-2010 07:40 PM

I'll be honest, I was complaisant with Megan Fox. I'm not so sure about this 'love interest'. See for yourself:
