There were some small previews of this statue at Comi-Con 2010, but no actual pictures were revealed until recently.

Apparently it's over 2 feet tall. That's huge! Imagine having that on your desk. :)

I still don't get the design though - I mean... the more I look at it, the more it looks like she is actually stroking her breast in a sexual manner.

Yeh the face is kinda weird, like the hair line is too high and the eyes are a bit weird, but its still an amazing statue, which i could afford it. haha

Hmm... her forehead looks too ample, but overall, it's very good. Wasn't Hot Toys making the collectibles for Avatar?

It's only my opinion, but as well as the over large forhead area, I do wish the modeller had given her proper Neytiri legs. Neytiri's legs have strong thighs and large calf muscles. The legs are also attached to good-sized hips. Whereas this model has no hips and seems to have human legs. The interdigit spacing on her right hand looks off as well. Hmmm, not to mention the odd size of her left forearm.

If I am going to get offered at great cost a figurine of Neytiri, I'd expect it to at least look like her in every aspect. Not just something that can pass for her if you don't look too carefully.

I'd attach a pic to show what I mean, but still cannot figure out how you do this on this site, short of using a URL.

Ofc it cannot be 100% like Neytiri. Perfection cannot be replicated :P

I don't think any Na'vi try to express lust in that mannor. Neytiri isn't a hore, and that's why I find her atractive. She has a strong and atractive body but she has a graceful soul.

She's attractive, but you do realise that the Na'vi are still biological beings, right? I mean, just look at the top she was wearing at the Tree of Voices scene, it was clearly to emphasise her attractiveness to Jake :D

Exactly, without displays such as this Humans and Na'vi alike would not survive as a species. ;)

Ironically, her regular necklace/top actually shows more, although that one is more exciting :)

lol Come on, she was wearing practically the same type of thing during battle; was she trying to look attractive for Quaritch, too? :P ;)

The "bra" she wore during the final battle had a strap around her back too... so not as "movable" :P You do, in fact, never see a nip slip in the final scenes (compared to the first half of the movie :xD:)

I don't want to sound negative, but I don't like it very much. The face doesn't look the same.

I don't think it resembles Neytiri as much as it should...There was a first edition by legacy and sideshow where she is couching/standing. I think it is much better, but still not quite perfect. here

I agree. This version was much better.



Also, in the originally posted design, don't her eyes look like she hasn't had a sleep in two days?
