Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Well I'm incredibly excited. Official trailer:

Gotta love Jack. Other opinions? Good or bad?

You could have Sparrow having a cocoanut fight with a monkey and it would be an epic film.

^______^

Penelope Cruz? Didn't see that one coming (not that thats a bad thing though), I just don't typically expect her in a Pirate Action/Adventure movie :P

She fits very well with that accent of hers :) I've seen her in some... Sahara for example.

Finally! Can't wait.

I really hope it's better than the last one. If so then I will be very excited for this one!

Capn Jack is one of the most memorable characters ever.

I really can`t wait for this one. Given my love for pirates movies/books since I was little, the Pirates of the Caribbean series is one of my favs! I heard there will be a new trilogy starting with this one, so I`m as exited as I could be!

Woodsprite 12-20-2010 01:03 AM

Not only a new trilogy, Bruckehimer said he wants the new trilogy to veer toward what the first trilogy did in terms of simplicity. "On Stranger Tides" is said to be as simple a plot as "Curse of the Black Pearl", and is not trying to be bigger than "At World's End". Seems smart to do, so the audience can watch Jack start at humble beginnings again, and possibly progress the same way the first trilogy did.

Hmm.. i have not seen the first movies at all.. perhaps i should get them for watching :D

First movie, must see.

Second movie, meh.

Third one... Maybe watch it just so you can see how it ends, but really. Not very good. At all.

Saw the trailer in 3d when I saw Tron Legacy. The sword coming through the door seemed like it was inches away! Looks like fun as a good rollicking Jack Sparrow story should be.
