Extended soundtrack on Collector's Edition
 

This is old news that the entire soundtrack for Avatar wasn't released on the OST CD and I was meaning to say something about it around ten months ago (!). I've been watching the special features on the Collector's Edition and have noticed parts of the OST that I haven't heard before in the movie. Anyone else notice too?

I also signed a petition (I think) for the entire soundtrack to be released (think it was Woodsprite's idea) but then not really understanding what it was about. :facepalm:

If this is true, that there is more to the soundtrack than what is released, where can you find it?

There is a pack with 5CDs containing the full soundtrack but I can't remember where it was located...

Yeah, AFAIK there were a few copies that were originally released, at least one got copied and released onto the internet which is the one the current ones originate from.

Was The Hunt track included?

On Disc 2 of the 5 Disc soundtrack there is a track called "The Hunt".

Ah, sorry, I was referring to the 5 Disc soundtrack. There is a track on the second disc called "The Hunt". I don't believe there are any actual soundtrack selections on the Blu-ray. The music might be used for some of the special features though, but not actually a separate track to listen to.
