The final race of 2010 season of Formula 1 was def wikkid tight. KERS anyone for 2011?

Well, KERS is not mandatory for this season, Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull, Mercedes, Lotus - Renault, Williams, Force India, Sauber, Lotus (the guys from Malaysia) and Toro Rosso are going to use KERS during the season. Only Hispania and Virgin won't. It's going to be another extraordinary season, the movable rear wing will certainly become a major player in the field... and we will possibly witness some big accidents.

Nascars not even the same league or comparable to F1. Such an American fanbased sport. Its funny/sad when an actual sport league (not just a team) needs a sponsor.

i like nascar but formula 1 is the elite sport for motor racing. The best drivers in the world (apart from seb loeb) compete in it. McLaren Mercedes all the way. c'mon Lewis Hamilton, 2011 is his year! truusssttt

F1 > NASCAR, because it has these things called corners :P

Although admittedly, Ferrari International Assistance have been trying to suck all the interest out of F1 and mostly succeeding.

Seriously you never see F1 cars two wide in a corner, the announcers have a FIT and FREAK OUT of they are. There's a reason Montoya came to NASCAR, the racing is just better. F1 is a great motorsport but god, wake me up on the last lap when the leader is a 25 second lead...

Seriously, NASCAR (and other series in the US) race mostly on ovals. Formula 1 (and the FIA series) run on different layouts and countries during the whole season. The reason for the "lack" of overtaking is the formula itself. All cars may look the same to one, but they are completely different from team to team. In NASCAR (I believe) all the cars are stock, coming from a production line. Formula One (as of today) has 12 different manufacturers (though, Toro Rosso is a sister team of Red Bull Racing), you won't find an F1 car for sale (the McLaren F1 is an exception, though it's completely different from the Formula). Another thing, F1 is open-wheel, the design of the car, as FIA establishes, is intended to high-speed, race-only and all the engineering is based around that. Besides, we, F1 fans have Monaco!!!

formula one cars are so difficult to keep on the track, let alone race for 60+ laps. gotta have huge respect for the drivers. as a sport, just like any other racing event, you never know what's going to happen. but in f1 the stakes are so high.

and the reason montoya left is because he sucked. only when i see hamilton, vettel, kubica or alonso make the move to NASCAR, will i agree that the racing is better. to me, racing is all about sheer speed, precision, delicacy, adrenaline, G forces, the perfect car and the perfect driver. f1 provides. lol at ferrari international assistance

Yea, ferrari seems ta want to dominate as the "headliner" team fo F1. Im not a ferrari fan for a few reasons, but do have some respect for them. BTW its funny they have a lil light-core Drum n Bass playin in tha video you posted. I remeber tha Dom & Roland tracks on original midnight club.

Senna (Bruno) has been sacked by Hispania and replaced by Narain Karthikeyan.

I predict Hispania won't last through this season.

Any thoughts on Petrov? I think He has potential. a few errors in 2010, but I'm sure He'll be movin up with time....
