Uncyclopedia

Before you go read this article understand the following: everything on uncyclopedia is a joke. Uncyclopedia is self described as the "content-free encyclopedia." I got a good laugh out of it: Avatar - Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia

Also this is great too: http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/A...t_the_Weekend.

Every time I see an article on one of those sites I end up reading about 5 other ones it linked to, this time I only read 3 - yay!

Also, how exactly are the Na'vi furries? They have hair on their heads (like us) and a tiny tuft on their tail but no body hair, so they in fact have less hair/fur than humans so wouldn't Na'vi fandom infact be Lack-of-Fur Fandom? (Yes, I know that the people who will read this aren't the ones who wrote the article, but still)

“In the Na'vi, you can sail the seven seas....”

The term furry refers to any anthropomorphic creature. This can include any animalistic features, with or without fur.

Yah I think that the Na'vi are pretty much furries. See below:

Notice the word 'Not'? Na'vi are less than the 10% image.

The reason people equate them with nonsentient animals is because they are stuck in a mentality that humans are he only sentient beings they could love. Fine for them, but humans really are not so great.

*squints eyes*
I'd give the Na'vi around 25-30%

(Also I've got a small furry fetish... well more catgirl...)

Everybody does to some small degree.

Human No More 01-15-2011 12:53 AM

I can genuinely assure you I do not :P
Na'vi have less in common with nonsentient animals than humans. I have no problem with people having a fetish (I seriously doubt there is anybody at all who has none :P ), but there is no need to try and justify it. I don't try and justify my tastes to anyone I can get to listen.
Each to their own, but don't try to tell other people they like it too - as long as people with that fetish don't harm any actual animals, I have nothing against them personally. If something exists, it's someone's fetish, but 99% of people keep theirs to themselves and only share it with like-minded people. Nobody has any entitlement to shove it down everyone's throats. I really don't care what people like, but I do object to when someone makes it public for no other reason that 'oh yes, I like this you know'.

Whatever helps you sleep at night.

Anyway...What an awesome site, did not know that existed.

Honestly though the Avatar page went too far in my opinion. Probably because I would defend Avatar 24/7...

Fosus 01-15-2011 02:53 PM

Hahaha I laughed my ass off. :xD: :awesome: Uncyclopedia is hilarious :D

It was kind of supposed to be just a joke in the beginning...

Also this makes me smile:
