Txona, I wanted to give you the reason why I chose 'ekong. The word tattoo comes from the word 'tatau' meaning 'tap.' Way back when, a tattoo was applied by using a sharp instrument held against the skin and repeatedly hitting it with a stick which would break the break the skin and allow ink to enter. This made a tapping noise. I was trying to look for the Na'vi word for tap, but there was none. So I chose the word for beat because the tapping had rhythm(or a beat) to it.

As for the dressing up, I'll probably do that once for when everybody dresses up for the museum. I was also planning on not painting my tattoo for when we dress up. I've worked too hard to just cover it up. :)

Agreed. You put a lot of money and blood into that. Didn't the Na'vi have some kind of body that was permanent on them?

I'll gladly do my costume multiple times, whatever it may be. It might be what I'm looking forward to the most. :cool:

I think I'm going to paint mine or it will look weird against the paint. I can have photos on my phone anyway, plus I can show it on the other visit to the museum if we do that one without costumes (or just tails or something :) )
