Seems Quiet on ToS, these days!

is this just my imagination ..

or has it been unusually quiet on the forum these days?

Where is everyone?

And if its not my imagination, what's happening or going on?

Not quite sure, now that you mention it it does seem a bit quiet... I havent had time to check any of the other boards other than General Discussion due to time, but I am still here :awesome:

One year since the first film, not much news about the next... yeah, it's going to be quiet until we get some more info.

Yeah it does seem a little quiet, haven't really had much of a chance to visit lately either :(

Hmm interesting .. because I've had a lot of 'personal' stuff going on, I just hadn't been around .. but the other side is that i'm also noting .. that the network 'connection' is pretty quiet as well these days .. so that has me wondering what is going on as well!

Well, looking at the server statistics, there is just as much activity now as before (5000-7000 visits a day) - and the post rate is the same as well. However, there has been a decrease in new threads - which is probably why it seems more quiet. ;)

And interestingly, the IRC chat channel has been more active than ever lately...

School, mainly.

If you want to find us, some of us are on the IRC channel quite often.

And as for IRC .. ok .. umm never was able to figure out how to get on it, but would explain where everybody is gathering these days, and maybe why skype is quiet! ;)

I miss many people who have disappeared in the last four months. :( But I don't feel it's more quiet than before. :)

IRC has been very active. You can use the IRC link on the header to get the basic client which will allow you to join.
There have been fewer new threads, but as has been mentioned, there is a lack of new information about Avatar. This happens to any forum based on a film/book/series in gaps, when it isn't old enough to continually produce new content. This exact same discussion has been had before, and then activity increased again for a while, then it drops again. It comes in cycles. I'm sure that most people here still think of ToS, sometimes life just gets in the way :(. They'll be back - if you really miss someone, then you can always message them and see how they are :)

Wow thats pretty awesome!!! Thats a lot of visits a day honestly if you think about it...

Funny you you say this woodsprite, I was saying the same thing on IRC and skype, which I have only joined this last week. I am sure things will pick up.

And what I have to say about the subject... I have noticed, yes. I miss many people, the fangirls mostly. Newer members might not understand, but the fangirls was also a part of the community, and now hardly anyone is left. :'( It seems like their interest faded and died when the cat's meow thread toned down. Very sad. :( But it's no good to dwell on the past *sigh* Make the best of the now :)

I'm waiting for them to make the next move.
