Possibly the Dumbest/Scariest Video I've Seen In A Long Time.

Corruption of religion at it's finest.

And they take a crack at Avatar.

Who the **** are these people?!

Real Christians need to move away from these idiots, FAST.

Советский меч 03-02-2011 02:25 AM

Stopped watching when she said deadly to the gospel of jesus christ. Should have known they'd be jesus freaks.

Fighter-of-Wars 03-02-2011 02:45 AM

O.M.G. I can't believe these people. Are they really that stupid? I mean really God entrusts us with this Earth. That means it's okay to turn it into a **** hole? I don't know how brainwashed they are or how much they are getting paid but that is extremely disrespectful. No matter who you ask.

What will they say when the sky darkens from pollutants, the water they drink is poisonous, the air they breath is toxic? Nothing, they will eat their words and die from it. God entrusted us with this wonderful world and it's our job to take care of it. Not party it up and trash it.

They think that the "Green Dragon" is putting nature above human life. They are so full of **** it's running out their ears. I can't believe they would think other people would believe this.

Environmentalism is in the concern of ALL LIFE. Without other life Human life is NOT possible.

They think that Environmentalism means killing the poor and weak because we can't help them. That's so far from the truth. The people with oil wells, landfills, coal power plants and other things that pollute the world are the ones at fault, not the poor. The poor do less to the environment than anyone else.

I really hope that someone comes and makes a video and responds to every single one of those nutbags and get their head screwed on straight.

F.O.W. = Uber pissed.

I can see it now..."James Cameron responds to anti-environmentalist Avatar haters."
Oh, btw...

GREEN DRAGON THIS :shoop:

They'll drop to their knees and rejoice that The Rapture is near. I'm serious. Some fundies accept that we are damaging the environment, but do not want to change things, because they believe that destroying this world will help expedite the 2nd Coming.

"How it's pointing people away from god and into humanism"
Translation: So instead of a deity controlling our lives, people are taking control of their own lives.

Grif 03-02-2011 03:39 AM

"There is a gospel at work here (in Avatar), but it's not the Christian gospel. Instead Avatar is director James Cameron's long apologia for pantheism, a faith that equates god with nature and calls humanity into religious community with the natural world."

Holy f**k! Ok I mean how can you say this. I mean yes the movie does support living with nature and treating it equally with other life. I mean I know it's impossible to apply logic to illogical information, but come on!

And then they bash the global government movement in which countries work together!

tm20 03-02-2011 04:24 AM

all of you are so ungrateful :( without these people who else are we supposed to laugh at?

Woodsprite 03-02-2011 06:24 AM

She sounds like the president from season 7 of 24. :P

Well, Cameron kind of.... already failed with that.

Seriously though, this video is a bit of an extreme approach that doesn't do any justice to anything that any two Christian conservatives believe. I agree with the general message, but the way it's presented is egregiously nonsensical. And the crack about Avatar... unforgiveable. She's treating it like John Hagee treats Harry Potter: like a fanatical hate-monger.

Isard 03-02-2011 07:25 AM

They're blowing the threat of radical environmentalism waaaay out of proportion. The green movement is still controlled by sensible people.

Also, lolconservatives going on about small government and helping the poor...

What a bunch of absolute nutcases. Just for this outrage I'm going to go and plants some trees and then hug them

Human No More 03-02-2011 04:44 PM

This is why I hate skypeople. I couldn't even watch the whole video - some people just should not exist.

...That's overstepping the line.

It's his right to say it.

The funniest part is that these same people are some of the biggest apologists for globalized economies.

Yay @ doublethink.
