... ouch. To be fair, though, it probably wasn't the best of ideas to try reaching out to the likes of Something Awful. (I think people have had better luck on 4chan, for Pete's sake!)

Yeah, I was in an odd mood when I created that thread. I've been a goon since 2004 (have had several different accounts) so I knew what would happen. But I did it anyway. Something made me want to stick my hand into the wasp nest.

They're goons. Da **** did you expect?

Yeah, I know. Then again, I'm also a goon... at present. Pretty sure I'm about to get banned or get a mod challenge or somesuch.

That was a bad idea :P. Even 4chan are better, because they are far less controlled and will actually admit to liking something if they do.

Looking at the last few pages of that thread, it seems as if you have succeeded against all odds in winning people over to your side. Now they're arguing with each other over the film.
