So EVE is turning into a FPS? Or walking in stations is finally going to be released? :P
I remember when CCP announced that console game of EVE, cue massive rage, and the whole thing silently disappeared. |
Both walking in stations and Dust 514 will be released soon. The first in a few months and the latter within a year or two.

UPDATE:
The war was a miss fire, the persons responsible for creating this conflict were delt with their corporations. The alliances are very tense with eachother but peace exists still in the region. War is very much likely still as tensions boil between PISS Alliance and Imperial Order, amongst other corporations. Alliances involved: -Imperial Order -PISS Alliance -AAA (Against all Authorities) -Goonswarm *2 other alliances are background that offer support for both IO and PISS* |

If you haven't seen it already: Will EVE Online’s Console Shooter be PS3-Exclusive? That said it was previously marked for an Xbox 360 release two years ago. |

Huh, I get what you mean about MMOs, sounds like that could be a drag.

It's a nice game, the economy is entirely player-driven, and you can get fleets of thousands of player ships - it's very open for different play styles, or can also be played solo - some of the richest players play solo or with alts and just have good business skills). However, CCP (the company that make it) have mismanaged it many a time - the whole Dust sidegame had many players wondering about the direction, at least when I used to play.
