An Unexplainable Feeling Of Soaring Disappointment
When all week you have the plan to see Avatar Friday night at 10:30pm because you haven't seen it in 2 weeks because random plans arise (a vast majority of you don't even want to be apart of) and blam another thing arrises and you can't go... and I can't go today because I'm going to be at a church event all day and I can't go tomorrow either :'(
I feel so empty I have to see it again. The last time I saw the movie was two weeks ago on my last IMAX 3-D viewing, and as if that didn't leave me saddened enough I had my hopes up yesterday only to have them fall on their face. This has happened on multiple other occasions as well. This friday, Avatar Real-D 3-D, 7:00pm right after I get out of school! Sorry I just had to post my feelings |
Ugh I know what this is like! I had about 2 weeks where the same thing happened to me! Things got in the way that needed to be done or I had to go somewhere and help with things I didnt really want to. I must say when you get in that theater the most relaxed feeling will come over you! LOL

I think this falls into the if I have to explain you would never understand category. You don't need to explain here and you can't explain in the "real world."

I had the same thing happen to me. I had thought about seeing it again on Thursday or Friday but I had to much housework to do. For the last couple of weeks I had other stuff going on like having company over, going to my sister's wedding, etc. Today I didn't get to go because I had a funeral to go to. Something always comes up. The best thing to do is to set aside time to do it. If it is still playing next week, I just might go finally :).

Hope it's a good one. I haven't seen Avatar for about 2 weeks now, but I am seeing it on the 29th in IMAX :D
|
Sucks... But then, it is church, right? ;)
I'm not going again until it's re-released with the additional footage in Imax. :D If attending a theater I have two major rules that have applied for the past 3 weeks: Either see Alice in Wonderland again, or see something rated PG-13 or over. |
I would go see it but my nearest cinema has stopped showing it... It's had a good run 4 months in cinema...
|
I See you. The nearest theater is +60Km away.. There are barely any buses so a trip there and back mean sleeping overnight at the city. My wallet has been empty since third viewing.

Very much in agreement with you there Stanley, the first few seconds of realisation you can't go and see it is pure frustration, then diappointment, it happened to me the last two times I tried to see it, oh well, makes the DVD release all that much sweeter.

Go in the middle of the week if your schedule permits!
It's gotten to the point where I just pick a day and time and go, regardless of other plans. Someone wants to chill? I'm busy! |

Ooh, that makes for a long day. 7 courses per semester is enough work without needing to make money too. Hopefully your job isn't too labour-intensive! |
i hate that i had something like that last week, but im going to see it tomaro after the gym cant wait :) :)

I really want to be working at a dealership on cars haha How long are you gone a day? |
I had this happen to me only once, but I remember it sucking hard. I remember throwing a riffle bat at a tree out of uncontrollable rage lol. I went alone to my nearby theater to see it again. The buses took FOREVER to come, never go around with buses at night, their slackin' around that timeframe.

that never happend to me!
even took a break from work to go and see the movie! :D:D but i´m going to see it one more time! ;) |
