For my copy of Avatar in Blue-Ray for its release April 22nd! I pre-ordered it at my local music and movie store today, and now because of that, I need to buy a Blue-Ray player haha and later on in the year when they release a Limited Edition copy or whatever the highest edition copy of Avatar is, I'm getting that as well :D

Anybody else pre-order it yet?

I pre-ordered it on Amazon within an hour of them opening it up. I have Amazon Prime, so I will receive it on release day. I have already scheduled the day off of work :D

I don't think they have a limited edition for pre-sale yet, I think thats coming out later this year

Yeah, not til later, probably after the re-release of the "extended" version in theaters, which is of course going to be beyond amazing in itself.

Normally, I get annoyed when movie studios release a bunch of increasingly good versions of DVD, but in this case, it doesn't matter, since I will own a copy of everything Avatar regardless :D

Uh huh... sure you are :) That's going to be one hard thing to hold off on. There's no chance I could even if I wanted to, which I don't.

I'll just stop by WalMart next to where I work and pick up mine when it comes out. No need to preorder as far as I'm concerned.

I have a sneaking suspicion that I will have 3 or 4 or so different versions of it before all the versions are released. What I get on April 22 will just be the beginning.

Personally ill wait for the special edition to be released, im not going to buy multiple copies of the film :)

Gonna be hard, but ill just to sneak into my friends apartments and borrow it from time to time

If I had it my way I'd buy the fully extended special edition DVD (or Blu-Ray; if I get a PS3 in time) in November, or whatever month it's coming out, and just keep myself satisfied with my download until that day comes, never buying anything.

Practically heartwrenching to even consider waiting that long, but I'd take that risk... would it not be for my sister's birthday. She's getting the DVD. But I get the super-special extended edition. Ha, ha ha ha, ha, ha, haha, and HA! :cool:

I haven't actually got my order in yet due to money problems :(
It isn't too expensive though so I think I might just do it then work out how I can try to save money on other things though.

I went to my local video/game/book store yesterday. They didn't even know it was coming out... :'(

Saw a bundle on play.com that has The blu-ray, the survival giude, a t-shirt and 4 art cards for £24.99.

I need to deposit some money so I can buy it. This means waiting untill tomorrow. :(

Amazon Prime customer, here. Locked and loaded, will have on release day. COME ON APRIL 22!!!!

I am going to hold out for the extended version. My brother plans on buying the theatrical version on April 22nd and the extended version. So, I'll just use my brother's until I get my extended version later this year. That should help my fix :).

DO WANT! This is probably going to be the Halo of the movie world. Release 3 different versions of it and then do some Limited Edition Slurpee cups :D
