Songs That Make You Think Of Avatar.
Anyone else have any songs they like to listen which make you think about Avatar, Pandora or the Na'vi now?

This is a bit of an odd one, but then again, my brain works in an odd kind of a way. ;)
I think it's the lyric sample in this track that makes me think of Avatar... "The escape, that makes the unreal seem beautiful and the reality of life seem unnecessary." |

Alot of songs from the new Alice In Wonderland. They have a similar composition to some of the tracks of Horners. You get the feeling your dropping down a think fog after walking off the edge, except Alice in Wonderland's music doesn't have the 'kick' to influence you that an Ikran is waiting for you at the bottom..... if this makes any sense.

Not at all related but it's what I listened to just after my second(and most powerful) viewing, so it really reminds me of Avatar. |

I was listening to one of my favorite songs today and realized that it is a perfect fit for Jake.
"This Is Home" by Switchfoot from the Prince Caspian Narnia movie. There is a video on youtube with scenes from the movie. I'm going to post the lyrics here and then try to make my own video using Avatar images to the song. Way before I had real dreams about Pandora, I had about ten where I was on an ISV back to Earth. I remembered nothing concrete about my visit, only that I loved being there and I was very unhappy to be leaving. This is the song which goes with those feelings.

And it really nailed Pandora for me, can't explain why, but I got that feeling. Especially from the 1m mark onwards. Can't wait to see a full release. THAT ECHOING AMEN BREAK. |
