That is so cool. :) The body looks very fluid and natural in that pose.
|
LOL it does look like surfing :xD:
|
looks great. hair movements look really good as well. can we get a short video soon? :D
|
Haha great suggestions, yes it does look like he's surfing the winds of Pandora on top of an Ikran :D
I actually try to place Jake in the same pose as in my reference pictures. If i can place him in the same pose the rig is holding up, if not, i see where the weak spots are and fix those. Anyway, used another pose from my reference pics to see how the rig (and skin) is holding. Sure you recognize this one :) Could use a few more skin weight tweaks and then its about time to see how things go with Maya muscle added, fingers crossed. http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs70/f/20...ox-d4cgt4u.jpg Oh and yes ill make a test video soon when all his muscles are added. Very soon if Maya muscle cooperates a little! |
That is very well done! Nice comparison to the movie scene. :) All he needs is a fierce expression, a loincloth and accessories and some warpaint. :)

thats so cool. does this mean we can also expect an animated quaritch and his AMP? :awesome:
|
Looks awesome :awesome:
|
I think it looks amazing ma tsmukan!! I agree that he needs a more fierce face and his hair needs to be a bit longer and not so bluntly cut-off. If you could change those little details....TXANTSAN!! :awesome::shock::D
It is truly gorgeous and I love what you have done so far. JAKE-A-LICIOUS!! |

:P Oh you.

Hey thx all!
sorry no dont think there will be an AMP suit or anything :P Also when i'm done with his body facial emotes will be added. Same for his hair, it just needs a bit more tweaking so that each string of hair moves a little more different from the others, ill get there. Think its already better in the clip below. Its all been pretty technical lately and now the muscles that will interact with his skin are also added. Everything needs to be tweaked a little more but i really wanted a animated test clip to get a better impression of the direction its going in and also see if everything is still holding up. Below the test clip. Keep in mind this is not a render, its how stuff looks in my 3D program itself, so its not as pretty (also his eyes are black here). Also i already spotted some errors in the rig and animation but oh well.. thats the point of it i guess. So let me know what you think :) |
looks great, the hair movements still need some work (they seem to have got stuck) but yeah it's looking good :D
