Hey, great find Fiyerwall. Irayo :hi:

Yeah, we are in contact with the museum about next year and they have asked us what we would like (no promises etc). Hence we put together the surveys to gather the information. Certainly would be great if we could have another actors Panel. Laz was really entertaining last time.:)

@Alan: Sweet! I already filled out the survey, but now I can't remember what I put down. :P

I'm pretty sure I put that I wanted the discussion panels. And the tattoo panel. ;)

I'd like that :)

I really want to be able to go twice... Got to do the costume one day, but from what I've heard, there's enough to see to make two visits, plus, I need to let people see my tattoo too :P

Don't think you will get any arguments:D We ended up going in twice to see the exhibit, but visited the place every day! Definitely got our money's worth out of the joint membership thing.

And yeah, I think there will be a lot of tattoo exhibiting. There was last time. You'll really enjoy it mate.

We only went twice to the exhibit? I could have sworn we went more than that. It was just so awesome we couldn't stay away! I remember the tattoo photo shoot lol. I know I went more than twice in July

OH! A suggestion for all those who have memberships: Y'all might want to look into just renewing them so you have unlimited museum access next year. I'm strongly considering it! I just need to find out how much it costs. If we're going to be going to the museum multiple times next year (and I have no doubt we will ;) ), at $18/person it might be a better value to renew the membership. Just a thought.

I didn't know you could re-new the membership for a lower cost. :D that is great, thanks for the info.

Txonä Rolyu 09-11-2011 02:18 AM

Well, I don't know how much it costs right now, but I just sent an e-mail to the museum asking about it. I'll report back when I hear from them :)

Thanks for the info, Txona! I might look into getting a City Pass as well because I want to visit some other places. I'd like to go to the Space Needle again and the aquarium this time around. I'll check into it some more in a few months.

Moday I think we did some exploring...wow, brain getting misty already! :P Think I need to go again - Hehehehe.;)

Hey that's sounds really good value for money as I think it is $15 to get in for one day isn't it? Irayo for looking into it.

Oh how I wish I could have arrived Friday with everyone else and been there on Monday! Darn classes. Anyway, the online daily admission price is $15, at the door it's $18. Found that out when I was arranging the group tickets for the July group.

Alan 09-11-2011 09:14 PM

Well you will next time, right Txonä? Hehehe

Yeah, so it seems great value to renew memberships then...unless we can figure out a mass group pass...or something, for the weekend.

So is "renewing" the membership different from just getting another one?

Yeah, instead of signing up (and paying) for a whole new one again, you're just reactivating the one you currently have. Renewing is probably going to be cheaper than paying each day we go to the museum. That is...if we can't get some kind of special unlimited pass from them ;)

 I just realized I only asked about the cost for renewing individual memberships and all of you have dual ones! Craaaaaaaappp. I'll have to ask again when they get back to me.

Regarding the duple post I apology make.

I just heard back from the museum and...looks like it won't be a better deal to renew the membership. It will cost the same as the initial fee, so $50 for me and $65 for all y'all with dual ones. Although, split it would be $32.50/person, less than 2 individual tickets at $18 each. I leave it all up to you guys what you want to do. I think I'll be renewing mine if we can't get an unlimited pass thingy. At $18/person I can only go 2 times before I'm paying more than what it would cost to renew the membership.

Thanks for getting the info Txona. :)

I'll probably buy another dual membership...

Fiyerwall 09-20-2011 02:55 AM

With the city pass, does that allow unlimited access to the places that are listed on it? Or is it just for a one time visit? I know a few people had them, but I can't remember who had them.

Txonä Rolyu 09-20-2011 04:01 AM

No, it's just a one-time visit.

Irayo for the info. Maybe we could ask the museum to see what they are able to offer us in the way of a group ticket for say two days and see how it stacks up with renewing our memberships. The website say a 10% Group discount so equivalent of $16:20 each per day so a saving of....10c -ooOOOooo! Hmmm...maybe a little more thought to ponder on. I guess it depends on what folks end up doing.

Question: Why is double posting bad form? It doesn't bother me. If you have something to say, say it...I say! :D

Duple posting can clutter a thread and make it a little boring to read with posts from the same person all over the place. My take on it.
