Meetup Dates Poll
As of right now the dates for the 2012 meetup are July 19-23. These dates have been approved by a majority vote in the planning committee, however we would like your input as to if these dates are ok. :)
Similar polls have been posted on all forums. |
"Vice Chairman" now, eh?
The only thing I have to say about this is that it might be a good idea to tell the EMP/SFM about it. If they know we're coming back (and in greater numbers) they might be more inclined to synchronize special events with out arrival. |

At the moment they're okay with me. Do the dates coincide with the end of the Avatar exhibition at EMP? (Or I guess what I'm asking is) how were the dates picked?

July 4th weekend - OUT Bastille Day - OUT that left two weekends and the consensus was to go with the middle one to avoid any early August issues. |
Ah, I see. That makes sense. Good thinking. :)

Those dates look fine to me :)

Fine for me :)
Now we have a date, we can increase my chance of going to 90% :) Quote:

and it looks like the dates work fine for everyone so far. :) |
That works for me. July will be better for me work wise since we end our Q3 in June, so a better chance of me scheduling my time off with no problems. :D Thanks Aketuan! ;)

Works for me---I would like to skip my job in the middle of the summer :D :)
Also, there is a better than 50% chance that Seattle will have good weather (We all need to think VERY POSITIVE THOUGHTS about that one.....) |
I hate to be a stick in the mud, but july is in height of vacation season, so all prices of flights, and hotel, and other things. I wanted to just point that out. June is better, but july is ok.

We need to get as many people to come as possible - sadly, a lot of people will have far less time to in other months.
Anyway, it's us Brits who end up having to pay the most, not you :P |
