 EG You don't escape that easily! :D We'll get you to a fan meet up on way or another - hehehe.;)
Ahhh...you will never be able to take the Na'vi out of an Avatar fan. They are very hard to quell! No need to feel bad at all. That's life. Quote:
Anyway, hope all things come good and you are able to make it. If you really want it to happen, it will - and we want you there too! :hi: Alan |
Guys, it looks like the confluence of several different things is going to keep us from camping or back packing with you this year. The Hotel, and staying for the meetup is STILL ON, however, please think good thoughts for us about this, however.
Niri Te |
Sorry to here that, but at least you'll still be able to come ot Seattle! :)
Alan (Thinking good thoughts) |
It's scheduling more than anything else, we can still be able to go to the meetup, just not the camping or backpacking.
I will keep everyone up to date. Brie |
Wow that's crap, sorry to hear it, but glad you can still be at the meetup :) That'll be the best part anyway.
|
OK, Ateyo and I are LOCKED IN for the meetup, but ONLY the meetup. We HAVE our room, but it will be at the RODEWAY INN, next to the airport, where the rooms are HALF PRICE. ;)
Looks like you guys are stuck with putting up with us for the meetup:party: Niri Te |
Glad to here you're sorted. Hopefully I'll see ya there :)
Alan |
Great that you have your plans sorted. Looking forward to seeing you!
Note that you'll need to allow the best part of an hour to get each way between the Rodeway (via the Link Light Rail and the Monorail) to the EMP Museum. And that'll cost you about $7 or $8 each way IIRC. - Mikko |
Thanks folks, the travel time info, and advice to take the rail instead of the bus was very valuable Mikkowilson, just look for a six foot tall half Cherokee in a flight suit and jump boots, next to a five foot tall Na'vi.
Brie |
The Monorail is $2 each way and the Link Light Rail day pass is like $5.75. When you get off the Light Rail at the Westlake Center, you'll need yo go up an escalator or 2 (you'll be in a big bus plaza). Look for signs for the Monorail. You'll need to go up an elevator to the Monorail platform.
I'm not sure where your hotel is in relation to the airport but I know to get from the airport to the Light Rail it's kinda weird and a long walk. It's through a parking garage and like....through a little corridor....you might just want to go into the airport and ask where "Link Light Rail" is. -Txonä Rolyu |
The Hotel is about a mile east of the airport. Thanks for the information, it will make getting around on the first day a LOT easier. Who says that a Na'vi can't get along with an ex-RDA, current rebel forces Gunship Pilot?
Niri Te |
The hotel is located on the corner of 176th Street and route 99, (International Blvd.), just east of the airport, between the airport and Interstate 5. I have just found out that the SEATAC light rail station on International Blvd. is 200 yards north west of the Motel, JACKPOT !!!!
Niri Te |
Rodeway SEA-TAC is across one road from the airport. There's a skybridge over that road that also houses the Light Rail station. It's about 3 minutes walk from Rodeway to the station. Very convenient.
Do note that the Light Rail closes over night; so you need to check what time you have to head back each evening - especially important for evenings with later events (TBD) at the EMP Museum and or Hotel. - Mikko |
Hmm....how did I miss making my plans....maybe coming.
