I had a dream New Orleans had been affected by more hurricanes and become very tropical and abandoned and in some areas, there were actually jungles. Some white skinhead dude was chasing me and my friends around, he had a gun, I don't remember why. I think I wasn't supposed to be there, I remember thinking he was going to deport me. It was probably a mistake since I'm a US citizen, I was running around trying to get help from different people, I got separated from HNM but oddly enough they weren't trying to get him at all. I hid with some friends in a bad neighborhood until the guy found me there, I escaped right away because I didn't want to put them in danger. There was a gunshot but nobody screamed so I was pretty sure no one there got shot, then I ran into the City Park jungle area and hid in a tree. The guy followed me but couldn't see me in the tree, so he camped around there for a few hours. He killed some rodents and picked some mushrooms, picked some of those baby onion weeds that grow in that area, cooked them, ate them, took a short nap, woke up sweating, crying, freaking out, thrashing. He took off all his clothes and ran around, then his thrashing stopped after a few minutes. He knelt down and picked at the grass, then he started singing about how much he loved the jungle. He was still crying, kissing trees, he kissed a snail, he tip toed everywhere, he apologized a few times to no one in particular, then he looked at the put out camp fire and threw up.
All my dreams are nuts.

When I have dreams they never make sense either, normally I can't even remember them well, but as a kid often times I would have a dream that we were having a storm, or it was snowing, and then I would wake up to find out it wasn't true and I was depressed.

I did have have dreams involving Avatar and AF a couple times, but they were fleeting.

So, I keep having a recurring dream and I do not know why. The dream is that I forgot to take a course, or an exam.

To clarify,
I have my bachelor's degree.
I have my master's degree.
and I have passed the professional exams I was required to pass after I finished my college career.

But I keep having a dream where I forgot to take a course. Or multiple courses. Or a fifth exam which I forgot about. And I have to take them or study for that exam.

There have been times where I could have taken courses, was not required to and I elected not to. There have been exams I skipped. I skipped them because I was not obligated to take them, and they would not have had an effect on my grade anyway. Who wants to take an 8 A.M. final when you've already secured an A anyway?

But I still have my degrees and exams certifications and this is starting to get annoying. There's always a sense of dread in these dreams. That I still have a ways to go to get where in reality I'm already at.

have you ever had a dream that you were so sure was real? what if you could not wake from that dream? how would you know the dream world from the real world?!

I keep having this reoccurring dream where the Na'vi are technologically more advanced and invade Earth. All the same characters as in the movie are present except they're larger. They're about 15' - 20' tall and come in enormous spacecraft. They round the humans up as slaves, but I'm more fortunate. Neytiri decides she wants to keep me as her pet. And I like it... :awesome: lol

That sounds like you're mixing Avatar up with something significantly less G-rated.

Not that some fans would mind. :rolleyes:

i tend to get.. weird dreams. like, a couple of nights ago one involved a flying bus being driven by bert and ernie over what i think might have been pandora, and i was on it shouting "no go back the yellow question mark is a quest marker i need to turn in my quest"

there was also one that involved my grandparent's house. like, i'm walking from the hallway to the kitchen, and i look into the family room/den and wait what is rock lee from naruto doing in there. then i continue through the kitchen out the front door and.

there's na'vi everywhere. they're all just staring at this thing next to the house. it's big and it's glowing and everything is bathed in silver light, like a full moon. as soon as they see me they scatter like jackrabbits into the fields. i decide to chase them, but i'm not fast enough so i tell myself "i am a rabbit" and i instantly have rabbit legs and am moonjumping after them.

From the response here and elsewhere on the interwebs, I think we could've got into the Na'vi's good boks just by selling them porn. :P

Over the years I've had a reoccurring dream about a very extravagant multi-story library. Well, I just found photos of it.

This is the exact library from my dream, but in my dream it was part of a school I was attending and I would often go to the library to obtain material for my studies. Here's the crazy part... The library in these photos is located in Prague and is part of a university that was established in 1347. It's now part of the Czech National Library.

Now that you mention it... I'm actually not able to remember exactly what I was studying or what books I was looking for. I can just almost make out the name of the book, but I can't read the letters. It kind of looks like cursive or something. A good clue could be that I'm usually on the second story as seen in the second image. In my dream the library is basically a short cut scene. I can remember very well walking down the hall and going into it as seen in the first image. One minute I'm doing something, the next minute I'm walking down the hall to the library, and then I'm off to something else. The before and after are sometimes different, but the library is always the same.
