In Time

In Time is a movie coming out this year starring Justin Timberlake. Before you watch the trailer for it though, watch this dandy cartoon from 2008 by my favorite flash animator.

If either of these videos seems not to make very much sense, please let me know. My internet is really bad and I can't make sure these are the right vids

I seen the preview for this last night at the movie theatre. I don't think I want to see it.

I think its gonna be awsome! The idea is really creative and unique and somewhat out of the normal mesh-up of genres. Every movie seems to be the same story nowadays but this one seems to have something new . . . but then again I'm a big sucker for any story that deals with time:P

Hey, I'm not necessarily recommending it, just wanted to show you guys how eerily similar the two videos are :P

If i'm honest, i'm not so fussed... Seems almost like an updated rip-off of Logan's Run, and while I do indeed love that film and it does have one of my favourite actors - Cillian Murphy - the film itself looks a little cheap.

Saw the preview of this before.

Honestly, I think the idea might have been good, but I think that the way it's presented makes it look like it's going to be some kind of 'improving yourself is bad' thing :/ .

The review I heard of In Time was that the message of the movie is so heavy handed, it is to the detriment of the story-telling. That in an effort to make a time/money allegory to today's world as seen by the writer/director, they made a world that simply did not make sense and would not be able to actually function.

Typical, I expected as much.
