@EmptyGlass
Wow, those pics look awesome. I completely agree, I love the mountains a lot. Austrian Alps? Sounds awesome! :) A few days ago I uploaded a quick 180 degree from ontop Stones Peak (12,922 ft) in RMNP from this last August. http://vimeo.com/31530427 (some of you might recognize other peaks from my pics/vids from the past) |
The Pyrenees is on the border of France and Spain. Probable borders some other countries as well. My old history teacher hiked up there and he told us about the monastaries. :)
I really, really like those pics especially with that big lake. :D |

 That is absolutely stunning!! I can imagine Na'vi swimming around in that pic.

Asu Bay, on Tutuilla Island, in American Samoa. I lived on Tutuilla Island for several years. My favorite places, are Asu Bay, Asu Fou, (the town), Fagasa Bay. fifteen feet from the shore with a spear and snorkle on, and you are in a different world. The rain forests look just like Pandora.

Excuse me, I need to pick my jaw up off of the floor. |
That is a great shot of the falls, I don't recall anything like that on Tutuilla Island, we had one that was smaller, but higher, that shot right out of a cliff face, and formed a stream that flowed through the back yard of a Tuna Boat Captain friend of mine.
You guys would either call me a liar, or have me committed for leaving Samoa if I ever told you the WHOLE story of how I got to Samoa, my status when I was there, and why I left, so I will keep it to myself. Let's just say that the movie and I resonate on MANY different levels. If I could just load up some photos of me in Samoa straight from my computer, instead of needing a url, I would do so, but I can't. |
All I can add to this discussion, is visit Kauai at least once in your life. This has to be the most gorgeous, lush, natural paradise I've ever been to. You need to be willing to go off the beaten path and get muddy.

Taylorcraft, you can upload some pictures to your album via your public profile. I'd love to see some :)
|
Ok, I can do that, but right now, I am getting Na'vi lessons from Tirea Aean, so it will have to wait till late this afternoon before I load them up. I want to be a Trudy Chacon that speaks Na'vi, when Tee and I get up to Seattle this summer.
Wouldn't it be GREAT if they could write into the script that she somehow was injured but not killed when her chopper blew up, and was nursed backed to health by Omaticaya? |
I loaded up six photos onto my album today, I will be able to load another eight or ten tomorrow.

I don't know where this was taken, but I love how the water looks like rays of light :) Nice regardless of whether or not it's shooped. |
That was not photoshopped, you just put the camera on a steady rest or tripod, slow the shutter speed down, and that's the way the water looks.

Pandora is where you find it. Great pictures. Where are those two pictures taken from?
|
Not bad :)
It looks almost like there's some bioluminescence behind it. |
Already posted this in the music section, but the video was too good to ignore.

The mountains are in China, I heard that people wanted to rename them into Avatar mountains :) Just imagine they are half-covered mist, & you're almost on Iknimaya. Quote:

Apologies if this has already been posted elsewhere, if not, some of the images here are as close as you could get.

We just got more snow today and no words can express the look of the trees. The tiniest details are all covered with frost and it's stunning. I get this nostalgia when staring at them. Dun know why but love the feeling <3
